Starting with the good the ice cream and dipping dots you can not mess that up or the pre-packaged candy the service was good the lady was nice but the home made goodies in there example the chocolate,candy apples,dubai chocolate bars ,THE FUDGE these are all expensive made in house items which is okay to be pricey at a small mom and pop and to be made home made BUT unfortunately i would stop my order at the ice cream and pre-packaged candy,example(snickers,Reese's, Hershey ect) the home made goods are all off they either taste old and out of date or just straight i hate to say do not taste good as the flavor advertised we had the pistachio fudge which was absolutely disgusting the dubai chocolate taste nothing like Dubai chocolate and its kinda gross but we did get the chocolate covered pecans but how can you mess that up they are good the Oreo covered Granny smith apply has a chalky, cardboard cover on it that does not taste good now before you judge my rating and review we always buy local bakery home made goods everywhere we go but this was just so bad and at almost $50 was kinda crazy go enjoy the ice cream grab a drink then head out read more

My family loves this little place!! We went multiple times on our trip. I loved the Irish cold coffee. The edible straw is such a good idea. Our favorite ice cream was the gooey butter cake. This little shop in downtown Ruidoso has tons of fresh desserts at reasonable prices. I had the ice cream. One scoop was only $3.49, and their "scoop" was more like four scoops. My husband and I were craving something sweet and read the good reviews Sabor had on Yelp. We ended up getting a couple of pieces of candy which cost way too much. It cost $4 for one piece of a chocolate turtle candy. And to top it off, it had a hair in it. We definitely won't be going back. read more

We live near by and we come here for their Blue Bell ice cream. Especially the mocha almond fudge. Can't get it in the grocery stores. (Mocha almond fudge). Besides if we got a half gallon or a full gallon we'd probably eat the whole thing. Eating it here keeps the portion in check. They also have all kinds of candy there. This place is freaking amazing! Best candy/ice cream shop in town. The selection, quality, service are the best of any shop we visited in Ruidoso. We got some ice cream and freshly peanut butter chocolate fudge, and it was better than I had expected....and I had high expectations. The ladies behind the counter that helped us were super nice and very helpful even though their shop was packed with hungry customers. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this candy shop and we look forward to making a stop here a tradition for years to come. I was not impressed with this place. First off, walking in the door and being hit with Trump/Pence propaganda- I'm not in to politics at my local candy shop - sorry. Then, the girl working was not dressed professionally wearing a shirt where you could see her whole bra due to her cut up tshirt. We are so glad we stopped by this shop when we were shopping. The ladies there were very friendly and had us laughing. We bought a bunch of treats for the kids. We had never seen chocolate dipped pickles and jalapeños so we had to try it. We are a huge fan of the pickles, sounds weird but they are delicious. My husband had the jalapeño and said it was different but good. Our experience here was enjoyable and we will be back the next time we are in Ruidoso. read more

It was 85 degrees outside and about 90 degrees indoors. The ice cream was great as were other treats, however, you couldn't stay long in the business. Maybe the owner(s) should invest to in an air conditioner to keep the store cooler. I felt bad for the employees. read more
