We've tried the pistachio cupcake before as well, delicious! The strawberry was my favorite out of the 3 we purchased today, perfectly sweet and moist, could've used just a little more frosting. The chocolate buttercream was our least favorite out of these, kinda dry and not enough chocolate flavor, may go great w a coffee though. The German chocolate cupcake was good, still a tiny bit dry, but the flavors were great! I do look forward to our next visit and to see what other flavors are available! The owner was handing out cookie samples, salted caramel I believe, pretty tasty, the caramel was a little to large for the size of the cookie, but the taste was great! The people working here are super friendly and sweet :) Always welcome you w a smile and genuinely want you to enjoy their treats and shop. The shop is cute and has a little area to sit out front to enjoy your treat and there are lots of cute things to browse while in line; little candies, honey sticks, baking cookware, candles and more. Definitely stop by when you're visiting Ruidoso!!

We also got a card because they ship teas! Thank god because I've been wanting to come back everyday to get a new tea to try because everything from here is delicious!... Well the tincture is a little weird tasting by itself but you can put it in hot water or tea, and it's crazy how good it works I was a skeptical but woah..noticing the difference it makes is way worth it! I used to go to sleep at 2-3am but taking the knockout tincture makes me sleep like a rock from 11-7am and waking up refreshed instead of groggy, I haven't tried the brainiac one but my boyfriend said it really helps when he goes it work in those early mornings and he felt it wear off because he said he was actually able to stay awake in the morning. Walking into the store was such a vibe, everything on display, you can open the samples to smell the teas, it makes it so much easier to know what you want. OH and I thought it was so adorable how they have plants filtering water for their fish! It's such a good experience and I felt if I was going to give my money to a hardworking family business this is it. We were curious about the honey and the different tastes and I love how natural they are, the sugars the taste and feels real! And it's way better than any store bought honey I've got, we got to try samples of those and the worker he was so kind to give us generous amounts. Unfortunately when we went they were out of their kombucha! BUUT they recommended another store that carry's the exact one they have! Amazing! They were also patient when we got everything payed for and ordered and forgot to get the jelly so we had to pay for that itself too. THANK YOU GUYS

Happily I found exactly what I was looking for: Exquisite Local Tomatoes bursting with flavors that will never be found in most American markets. They have a little of everything- grocery, bakery, deli, café, produce and some basic automotive. You will definitely find what you forgot when you are passing through or staying in town. However, you will pay for it. Interestingly, I didn't find the bakery or deli or other made in house items overpriced as much as I did the markup on their grocery items! I mean, I understand they have to charge a little more because of fuel surcharges and that they can make more of a profit because they don't have competition, but some of the stuff was laughable. Nobody is going to pay 4 times the cost of instant ramen... because it's not worth that much, lol. That didn't apply to everything though, some items were a dollar or two more, others were twice or three times the price. The things we needed like coffee creamer and ice weren't so bad. I've been here five or six times over three trips to the area. I don't typically have questions, but when I do, the staff is polite. On my visits, nobody approaches you to offer help, but a friendly answer is all I need in a market. It's my opinion that the bakery takes great care in their work and the store seems clean and organized. What matters is that I can find what I'm looking for, and that hasn't been a problem so far.
