Tucked away on a street that reminds me of big bear. Tiny little shops and woodsy feeling. It is in the mountains. It's beautiful out here. Had a tea tasting and ended up buys some tea and their Mexican vanilla bean paste. It was so good! Expensive but good. I wouldn't normally buy things like that but I'm visiting and wanted to support a small business. read more

ADORABLE I walked in and sneezed and was greeted with a bless youvery kind workers! Lol and also they had told us about samples on anything we were interested in, I swear I wanted to buy everything because of how sustainable it all is, glass jars, paper bags, rapped in tissue paper! We also got a card because they ship teas! Thank god because I've been wanting to come back everyday to get a new tea to try because everything from here is delicious!... Well the tincture is a little weird tasting by itself but you can put it in hot water or tea, and it's crazy how good it works I was a skeptical but woah..noticing the difference it makes is way worth it! I used to go to sleep at 2-3am but taking the knockout tincture makes me sleep like a rock from 11-7am and waking up refreshed instead of groggy, I haven't tried the brainiac one but my boyfriend said it really helps when he goes it work in those early mornings and he felt it wear off because he said he was actually able to stay awake in the morning. Walking into the store was such a vibe, everything on display, you can open the samples to smell the teas, it makes it so much easier to know what you want. OH and I thought it was so adorable how they have plants filtering water for their fish! It's such a good experience and I felt if I was going to give my money to a hardworking family business this is it. We were curious about the honey and the different tastes and I love how natural they are, the sugars the taste and feels real! And it's way better than any store bought honey I've got, we got to try samples of those and the worker he was so kind to give us generous amounts. Unfortunately when we went they were out of their kombucha! BUUT they recommended another store that carry's the exact one they have! Amazing! They were also patient when we got everything payed for and ordered and forgot to get the jelly so we had to pay for that itself too. THANK YOU GUYS read more

Great little shop. Had samples ready for customers to sample too. Great selection. Had the White Grapefruit Ice Tea. Excellent. Bought the quart-size jar of it. Had an ice tea pitcher made in USA too. Oh, and try some of the Mexican honey. My wife lost her mind over that stuff. It was actually pretty good. But I didn't lose my mind over it. Nice little place if you like tea and tea paraphernalia. read more

Super cute little store with friendly staff, I could smell the candle they was burning from the street and I had to go in and investigate what the amazing smell was. Needless to say I found myself coming back out of the door with a candle in hand, I have it burning right now and my house smells amazing. read more

Great service, good vibes, cute store. Such a cool little shop. Can't wait to return for more decor and tea.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Not only is this the cutest little store with an incredible collection of unique items- it is also a collection of the loveliest associates! My family and I just wandered in but were helped out by Katy who let me know that if there was anything that I wanted once we returned from our trip to just give them a call and they would find it and ship it. Well that is exactly what happened. I called with the most general description of an item and the angel found it and shipped it for me. read more

Wow! If you love teas, spices, and/or honey you need to check out this adorable shop. The tea selection was amazing and they have samples you can try. I bought turmeric coated candied ginger that could become my next addiction. Super helpful staff person who let us know they are local and that made me love it even more. read more

Everytime I'm in Ruidoso (or the Cloudcroft location), I stop in to stock up! I love the loose leaf tea blends, and always enjoy seeing what new combination they've come up with! The staff is always friendly and very helpful! It's a cute little store and I always find something I want, not just teas! Worth a look when you're up enjoying some fresh mountain air! read more

Tea sampling is a favorite pastime of mine! While visiting the area, I came across this tea shop and sampled several of their teas. My favorite was the Mango paradise green tea which is good both as a cold or hot tea. The other sample that I really enjoyed was a mix of peppermint and Yerba Mate. The store associates were very helpful and seemed knowledgeable. The only unfortunate thing is that this company requires an online order of $150 or more in order to get free shipping. So I will be hesitant to buy online from them when other tea companies offer free shipping on any tea orders. read more

The tea we bought was good, but way too expensive. You can get better deals, flavors, and variety at Rosemary's. I gave them 1 star because the tea was good but the price was ridiculous. read more

We stopped in here while on vacation. We ended up spending around $100. For some delicious teas and a nice cup/infuser. The store smelled amazing and the young lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. read more

Product is great, customer service could use some help. Walked in and were greeted but from there the two you g ladies stuck themselves in a corner talking about their personal life. Stood by the samples for a good minute without acknowledgement. Advice is to not stay behind the counter and mingle more. read more

I love this place. This was such a delight in Ruidoso! My mom sister and I all bought different teas. There's also a lot of cutesy things all around the store. I bought a mug and a tiny picture frame. My favorite place in Ruidoso so far. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend trip to Ruidoso for some hiking. We were told about the shopping strip where a lot of the tourists go, so we decided to check it out while we were there. I was not sure what to expect, but we stumbled upon this cute little tea shop. The inside was not too big, but spacious enough to browse comfortably. We were immediately greeted by a friendly employee. She had informed us of the daily tea samples they provide and offered us samples. The shop had a very calming aromatic smell (all the tea leaves and herbs intermingling). I loved the way the tea was packaged in cute tin cans/mason jars on top of wooden barrels. I was able to browse the many different combinations of teas as well as smell them, peacefully, without the employees hovering or pressuring me into buying something I didn't want. The only downfall was how expensive all the tea leaves were and for the amount you get. I like my tea pretty strong so I use more leaves when brewing. I ended up buying a little tin of tea called Ruidoso Romance; although, it is delicious, it is not that impressive compared to other teas I have drank. read more

Purchased the Strawberry Hazelnut tea. Can't stop drinking this stuff!!! Great by itself or with cream. Will have to buy the large jar next time. Sampled some other flavors, too. Really great products! read more

They have a great selection of teas here. Love their Pecan Puerh tea and Chocolate Orange Puerh tea. If you bring back your empty tea tin, you get $1 off your new purchase of tea. Love their array of tea infusers not to mention the mugs, thermos, spices, and knick knacks. Always refreshing to sample the teas that they prepare that day. Hard to walk out empty handed due to the great aroma of teas. read more

My husband and I casually wandered in the tea store yesterday, and ended up purchasing two containers of tea and an infuser pitcher. Neither of us are tea drinkers. The sales associate was fantastic, between her and the samples we were sold! She was helpful, informative, and seemed genuinely excited about the products. We have already had iced tea and hot tea with the wild strawberry - it is delicious! Testing out the Horchata tonight read more

The customer service here was outstanding. Very friendly and very helpful! The shop is adorable and filled with a great variety of tea and tea accessories. I will be coming back every time I visit Ruidoso! read more

Awesome tea at a great price! The Valley orchard medley is my favorite...so far. We will be back.

I'm here in Ruidoso for the weekend. Went to Old Barrel Tea & Spice yesterday, bought a $3.00 tea ball, tried it last night. Using the clasp on one side makes the tea ball open enough on the other side that the tea floats out into the cup, not what I want. Today I tried to return the defective tea ball, asked for a refund, but no, no cash refunds. I could exchange it for another identical tea ball, or I could apply the $3.00 toward the only other option, a $10.00 decorative plastic tea ball. Not wanting to spend more money, with no cash return option, I tried at least five other tea balls like the one I had bought before I found one that looked like it MIGHT stay closed with the clasp in place, haven't tried it yet. Surprised at lack of concern for customer dissatisfaction with defective product. I'll never go there again. Tea is good but expensive. read more
