Maybe it was just me, but all the food was not tasty at all. I can't speak to the authenticity of their food, but it was generally not the best. I didn't try to the meat, so I cannot speak to their meat as it cost extra to have, which is ridiculous when their "buffet" is already ~$7-$8. Walked in 1 st time asked a regular customer what is good and the referee me to a special for 4.95$ rice bean chicken type of special. I intended to eat in but for some reason I decided to go with the special. I sat down to examine my food and try it out .I taste the rice and tore a piece of red off and it is quite delicious. A men walks up and tells me its take out and I must leVe .I want to try the food before I do buffet but I was completely embarrassed that I was told to leave . I read both good and bad reviews of this little treasure. And I can see where people both stand. It's not fancy, it's filling. The staff were polite. The place was clean. The food was fabulous. Went here with a group of friends the first time and the food was delicious. Everyone in my group loved the food. The downside to this restaurant is 1. Get packed and a small venue 2. Churrasco tasted exactly the same. Very impressed. You'll get the scenery and atmosphere from Fogo but the food is not far off at Sabor. Every time I go shopping at the Kroger on the corner of Delk and Johnson Ferry, an enticing aroma of blended spices and grilled meats pulls at my belly! So the other day, I caved. It's a small but eclectic all-you-can eat buffet of Brazilian cuisine. The food was great but I did need a nap when I was finished with my meal. I think this place is great if you're new to Brazilian food. Nothing was too intimidating or weird. Just good food. The drinks are single serving, canned or bottled. Also, the seating is rather cozy: meaning you'll probably bump into your neighbor when you get up for seconds, thirds, etc. However, the meat was good quality and tasted fabulous! I'd heard mixed reviews about Sabor Do Brazil in Marietta and checked them out on a recent Friday for lunch. I was expecting something similar to Picanha Steakhouse just up the street. But this is quite different - Sabor Do Brazil is much smaller than Picanha (about half the size) and there are no skewers roasting in an oven. The entire offering is buffet only. The salad fixings were fresh and the vegetables - plantains, yucca and zucchini were all extremely tasty. But the "meat" offerings really disappointed me. There was sliced beef mixed with onions, chicken legs and fried Tilapia. All of them were extremely salty. I could only take one bite of the beef, which was the biggest offender. The chicken and fish had less salt, but were by no means very enjoyable. So, it is definitely a great place for vegetarians. The restaurant seems to be frequented by many Brazilians, an indication to me that it is authentic. But, there was just way to much salt in the meats for me or my peeps to enjoy them. The price for the buffet is $7.99 per person, a couple dollars less than Picanha. Driving home, we spotted yet another Brazilian Steakhouse, and took a peek inside. The smell wafting into the parking lot was beckoning us inside. This one had real skewers of meat roasting in the oven, a huge buffet including items like coconut cod fish. All for only a buck more than Sabor Do Brazil. "Damn, why didn't we go here instead?", was the consensus after our quick surveillance. read more

Only a few miles outside Atlanta, and worth the drive. For $10 you get a lunch buffet with plenty of options for vegetarians/vegans. For an extra $3 you can get the buffet with churrasco, which is brazilian-style grilled meat. All the food was well seasoned with good variety of hot and cold options. Cost was $4.50 and it was very filling. The buffet is $9.95-all you can eat. Drinks are extra. Try Guaraná Antártica if you have never drunk it before. Guaraná is to Brazil what Coke is to the USA. I am Brazilian, and I absolutely love this place. If you go, please do not compare it with a typical Brazilian Restaurant (Fogo de Chao for example). They serve more like the everyday food - home cooked style. For the amount of food you can get and the variety that's available, I would say that nobody can complain about it. Even though I am vegetarian, I go there to eat because they have a very good variety of salads, but I can tell that their Churrasco looks very good too. If you go, be fair, do not expect a 5 Star restaurant because it's not. It's a very laid back, yet the service is very friendly. Recommended by a Brazilian friend as her home cookin' spot, I tracked this place down for lunch the other day during my trek to Marietta. It was just as she described: casual, laid-back, home style buffet. Nothing fancy, but affordable, good and tasty. They've got churriasco available for an additional price, but having just been to Fogo, I passed...not a fair comparison. While small, the buffet had a good selection of fresh salads, and the most tender roast pork I think I've had here in Atlanta. The steak was meh, overcooked and dry ( thought it was liver and onions actually); everything else was flavorful. Wish they labeled items though; some things were unidentifiable. While I'm not particularly a picky eater, I do like to know what I'm putting in my mouth whenever possible (minds out of the gutter please, lol) There was something that could've been enchilada casserole...but once it was cut, it went messy and you really couldn't tell what it was, so most diners passed. I ate my weight in roast pork, black beans and plantains, with fresh salsa and salad. Just dandy for $9. read more

This place used to be a $10 all you eat Brazilian buffet with all kind of meat cuts. I went here recently and it's changed, the buffet is split into two sections. One for $8 for all the starchy stuff and some meats. If you want Brazilian meats then you will need to pay $5.99/lb in the second section. Overall, it's a decent place to eat. Great food with friendly wait staff. If your looking for vegetables, this is not the place for you. All you can eat grilled meat. Beef was excellent and tender. Chicken wrapped in bacon was also good. They also had what appears to be their version of roast beef and also a great chicken marinade. The salad is fresh but simple.
