(Previous names of it being Pezao Cafe, Oba Oba Bakery & Lanchonete). I visited in the morning and was surprised to see an interesting set-up. You walk in, and there's a buffet section on the right of the restaurant. It's not all-you-can-eat, but each item is labeled by price. They have a ton of salgados, or fried snacks, such as pastels (empanadas), pamhonas (Brazilian tamales), puff pastries, pao de queijo (cheese bread), coxinhas (chicken/beef croquettes), and more. Around lunch time, they transition from baked goods and fried snacks to typical dinner items and soups. I'm a particular fan of the Saturday special, feijoada, the national dish of Brazil. It's a giant hearty bowl of slow simmered bean stew with a variety of meats, served with rice and collard greens on the side as well as farofa and pickled onions. If you're coming for their baked goods, it's best to come early while they're still fresh!

The "apricot brandy reduction" was essentially jam on top, and the potato chips were thick and underfried. The $37 pork chop was essentially inedible. Getting the check was another ordeal--we had to ask multiple times and were even brought another customer's check and credit card by mistake. There was no adjustment to our bill. After paying, we also had to wait to get our card back. The bartender did seem genuinely concerned when we told him what happened and ultimately offered 10% off a future visit, but after this experience, we certainly won't be returning.
