When my teenage daughter was facing surgery, she was scared, and as a family, we were all emotional and very overwhelmed. But from the moment we met Rick, everything changed. His calm presence, deep compassion, and expert care gave us hope and comfort during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Rick and his amazing staff not only prepared my daughter physically before her surgery, but he also helped her (and I both) emotionally--building her strength, confidence, and trust. After surgery, he was just as incredible, guiding her recovery with patience, kindness, and unwavering support. You can tell Rick is a man of God by the way he treats his patients and his staff, the way he runs his business, and in everything he does--with love, faith, and genuine care. We are forever grateful for Montoya Physical Therapy and Wellness.

At one point I could hear the physical therapist cussing and saying she was not going to deal with this bullshit today. I'm not sure what she was referring to. I hope by my next appointment they will figure out what the issues are and fix them,

Once I started my "physical therapy" they would tell me what to do, walk away, gossip loudly, flirt with the "Doc" and even he participated in making fun of a fellow coworker that was off for the day. Each time I said I was done the woman rolled her eyes and huffed over to me. They were too busy talking about putting castor oil in their hair to notice I was crying in pain. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

What upset me most was the lack of communication, apology, and professionalism from the front desk staff. As an ER RN, I understand how valuable patients' time is. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed. I don't have complaints for the therapist, they are good when it comes to teaching some points on therapy and exercises but, mind you the front desk people are unapologetic, lack of accountability, unprofessional and poor attitude.

The first time I went in, I had been dealing with terrible neck pain and migraines for almost a year. I was miserable, grumpy, and honestly just tired of being in pain. I went in on a Thursday and was adjusted by Dr. Kay. By Saturday, I was able to skate again, and the crazy part is--I haven't had that neck pain come back in over two years! About six months ago, my lower back completely gave out. I went back in on a Monday, got adjusted, returned again on Wednesday, and by Friday I was almost 100%. Today, I went in again for some lower back pain. After getting adjusted, I'm already able to move around without the pain I walked in with. If you've ever dealt with back pain, neck pain, or just feeling like your body is out of whack, I definitely recommend giving Envista a try. Dr. K and the team have helped me get back to doing what I love more than once--and for me, that means getting back on my skateboard!
