We stopped in that day (it was a Tuesday) and everything was ready by Saturday! Such a stress-free experience, especially compared to tailors I've visited before. It's a small store so we waited outside until the patrons in front of us left to ensure social distancing. All employees were wearing masks. I explained that I needed to have my mother's pant's hem to be tailored. Mom was going to wear them for her grandchild's baptism ceremony that was less than 2 days away. It was Thursday late afternoon when I called susie and she told me to just come on over. As promised Susie had the pants altered and perfectly done all in less than 24 hours. My mother looked great in her outfit. The thing that I loved most was that I explained to Susie that my mother has dementia and the home health aide would bring her to the shop. After I paid, had I not asked to look at it, I wouldn't have seen it until ready to wear it. They completely ruined the shirt, more staining than originally! Woman said because she didn't see shirt coming in she couldn't comment on the "new" stains. Several times I told her it wasn't that bad, and I would not have even brought it in like that, I would have tossed the shirt out. After a few times back and forth ~she offered to clean it again, I said "for what you messed it up the first time". She never offered to refund or take responsibility for the damage. Then a man~ probably the owner came from behind the hanging clothes, yelling "Nothing is guaranteed and dry cleaning could make it worse" I said "If you would have told me that I would have said forget it". She was yelling at him in another language to be quiet, he kept going. He led me to think at the time of drop off he could dry clean it, never mentioned "nothing is guaranteed" because we discussed the small stain. Now it was just principle for me, they would not even refund me the cost of the dry cleaning. Very poor customer service, they handled it all wrong. She knew they were at fault. I will never go there again.

I found out about about Teresa from a neighbor. I had done my own search for a tailor but didn't…read morereally find anyone that I felt 100% comfortable about. Of course I then searched yelp and google to see reviews but there wasn't much to go by. I was a bit hesitant since I had a lace dress with various layers and was on a tight timeline. After coming across her Facebook page I saw some more feedback and figured I'd at least give a call. Personally I've had bad experiences with dry cleaners and bridal shops so I felt more comfortable if I could find someone like Teresa. In speaking to Teresa, explaining to her the dress and the timeline (as I was currently out of town) we made an appointment for me to bring it in as soon I was in town. She said she could meet the timing before I left for the next trip, which is when I needed the dress. Upon meeting her I couldn't help but feel I was in great hands, what's more she understood how the body impacts how clothes fit and flow. During my time there I saw a few customers coming in and through their interactions I can see they loved her work, they trusted she'd deliver and they had a nice relationship. I couldn't help but wonder how is it there weren't an abundance of glowing reviews. The only thing I can think of is maybe we'd all love to have this fabulous find all to ourselves and keep Teresa as the best kept secret. Well I now have the dress in my hands and I can tell you her work was impeccable and her timing prompt. While I'd love to keep her all to myself as well , I'm a big fan of shopping local and supporting small businesses... so feel compelled to write this review. When we postponed our wedding due to Covid, she let me come back many times and try it and fix a few things. She even stored it for me for a while! I had the top of my dress altered a lot and you would have absolutely no idea - it looked perfect! I also enjoyed my visits there and will honestly miss seeing her!
