A mushroom slice and a ricotta square with mushrooms (half eaten :-)
Edward S.

For a dinky little pizza shop that has kind of an odd selection of pizza slices, it was affordable and quite good. Interesting thing about the crust, the slice looked like it was thin and possibly hard and the square cut looked doughy, but both of them were surprisingly flaky. Really strange because they don't look that way. The mushrooms are fresh and don't appear to be from a can, sautéed quite wonderfully. And most importantly it sat well in my stomach :). I had two mushroom slices and a bottle of water all for 13 bucks, very filling, not a bad quick lunch. I will return. Very good pizza.

Freezing cold in the winter with doors cracked open
Linda W.

There gotta be a better way to regulate the temperature in this place. During the winter, they 'crack' one of the doors open cause the kitchen is warm else the place would steam up. Sounds good in theory other than that makes the entire restaurant seating useless as it's freezing even with jackets. 30 degrees and the cold is coming in

Veggie pizza

Hmmm, where do I start? Messy restaurant with too many chairs & tables; disorganized. Now for the juicy part. I had lunch there a week ago, and while eating a veggie pizza a female manager came over to interrupt me from eating my meal to ask if my ice- coffee I walked in with was Kosher? WTH! I've never been approached in that manner b4 about something so trivial. She kept asking what was in the ice coffee, so I said almond milk & that she could one next door. She was redundant asking over & over what was in the coffee This is crazy NYC so I was trying 2b patient with her. She was acting weird, but never said she was the manager, until like 5 minutes into the conversation, & kept saying good thing the boss wasn't there bc he wouldn't like that I had a non kosher ice coffee. She's like it's a kosher pizza shop. Well if it was that serious they should have it in bold letters on the wall. Plus the pizza guy saw me drinking my coffee as I entered & again when placing my order & paying. Pizza guy was happy to take my money . As if he didn't know the rules where he worked. I thought it was disgusting her Hovering over someone as they're having lunch. If it was that much of a problem they should've given me back my money. I actually, had to say Miss I'm eating can u excuse me. A business, like this should not be open for business if ur gonna harass ur customers about what they're drinking? So, suspect! No wonder, it was kinda empty. Next time I'll walk another block to the other pizza shop. The pizza at this Sabra wasn't even that good, but it was a very hot day, so I took a chance. I bet it's so kosher, that if Department of Health may not find it so kosher in the kitchen. Never again! I do not recommend!

Tasty, humongous cheese slices, with a perfectly resilient thin crust. Friendly, efficient service. A couple tables out front if you want to eat asap.

Good late night snake. Nice size slices and fast delivery. Think they were running out of slices as it was the end of the night but overall very delicious. Small hole in the wall with a couple tables. Just Did a grab and run overall recommend

Caesar Salad

Ordered delivery on a weeknight, which arrived on time and piping hot! We got a half mushroom and half black olive pizza, size large. The crust was nice and thin, the cheese had good coverage and the vegetables were well distributed and not too skimpy. The extra toppings added $6 to the cost of the base cheese pizza. We also got a Caesar salad which was very enjoyable. Overall a solid pizza and salad experience!

The pizza is a solid NY slice. The bottom is nice and crispy,l and they left the bubbles which is a big plus for me. Flavor is lacking on the vodka sauce slightly. The two slices cost me just under 10 dollars, which I would believe is a little bit of a higher price point. Overall, good slices.

Tried the regular slice. I taste more of the breading/crust than cheese and it was burnt in the bottom. Didn't really like it...

Not good for word. dont Trust their ordering system. Not even apologetic. If you can't fulfill an order turn off your delivery system.

The reason I am rating this 4-stars is because for a Sicilian slice and bruschetta slice, I paid $9.

The quality and taste of the soy sauce was better than average. The salmon and tuna tacos were made exceptionally well, with super fresh raw salmon and raw tuna, and extra crispy taco shells. The nikkei acevichado sauce blends beautifully with the avocado, lime, pickled radish, and cilantro. This entire combination complemented the raw fish, and brought it to the next level. I had a glass of the drappier carte d'or from the sparkling wine list and it paired perfectly. The drink was light, very sparkly, and refreshing. It balanced the rich avocado and the fatty fish very well. The restaurant has a bar area and a main dining area. It has the ambiance of a standard upscale Midtown restaurant.

We started with mushroom and truffle empanadas and then had the sushi rolls - everything was fresh and delicious. One downside was the condition of the ladies room - to put it nicely it was disgusting. My sister changed her mind about using it after going inside. Other than that I would recommend giving them a try.

Cocktails are a little heavy on the sweetness, but the food is delicious and dessert is insane. Never had key lime pie like that in my life. Pro tip - would go duck breast over duck confit, although both were fantastic. The rack of lamb was also divine. Only criticism is that service could use some improvement, a few of our appetizers were incorrect & we felt rushed to leave at the end. But otherwise no notes, would highly recommend that anyone check this place out.

We had the…read morefront of the bar for cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres, and the room right behind the bar for our event. Passed hors d'oeuvres included beef carpaccio, ahi tuna tostadas, short rib gnocchi, and patatas bravas. For dinner, we were given a choice of three appetizers: roasted caufliower, lamb riblets, or brussel sprouts with lamb bacon; a choice of four entrees: duck confit risotto, ora king salmon with coconut curry, tournedos au poivre, or cote do boeuf. The three dessert options were apple streudel, affogato "al caffe", and key lime pie. I ordered brussel sprouts, duck, and key lime pie, and Eric R. got lamb riblets, ora king salmon, and apple streudel. I think he regretted offering me a lamb riblet because it was ridiculously tender and melted in my mouth. What is truly amazing is this is a meat restaurant, so the ice cream, risotto, gnocchi, and other dishes that we think of as dairy-based were non-dairy, and still completely amazing! It was definitely the fanciest kosher restaurant I have even been to in my life. The restaurant was so packed that we could not hear most of the speeches, which were given into a microphone attached to a small speaker near the bride's and groom's family's table. I do not fault the restaurant for its popularity though! The menu is really fun so I think it would be cool to return here for a special occasion. It is also located in midtown Manhattan which is very convenient for transportation. B'teavon!
