The apartments are all updated and NEVER have I seen one single bug. ( I don't know... but for me that's a big deal) These guys are awesome, my whole experience from touring, to moving, to 8 months later, has been super easy going. I take pride in living here, it is the cleanest, safest and most peaceful place to live in the area, in my opinion. I take great advantage of our awesome pool and the grilling area. LOVE IT! Oh! Free WIFI too in that area... I am however, looking forward to our new gym reopening soon. It's now expanding and being renovated with new state of the art equipment... I don't care for tennis or basketball but if you do, there are playing courts too, along with a car wash station. It's really cool here! I don't typically write reviews but these guys truly earned it and I wanted to share the positive experience that it has been for me.

We applied for an apartment over one month ago. We paid application and administrative fees. They…read moreassured us the background checks would come back in 5 days and we would be able to move in. 5 days turned into another week, then we were given 3 different ETA's on when they would come back. They would tell us it was coming back on certain days then we wouldn't hear from them and have to keep asking about if they came back. We told them we were nervous to terminate our lease at our current place because this background check was taking so long. They assured us we would still move in by the move in date they offered us and that we should terminate our lease. Kept reassuring us while pushing back the ETA of our background checks. The week before our move in date we started looking elsewhere because it had been a month since applying and only 3 days away from our move in date and thank god we did or we would've been homeless. We terminated our lease at our current place because of their timelines and assurances. Gave them so much patience and on our move in date we were still told no background check came back a WHOLE MONTH LATER. We wasted a month of our time waiting for them. It feels like they just took our money and wasted our time. They would not give us a refund even though we were never given an approval or rejection. Wasted a whole month waiting for them

I have always lived in a single family home, but I needed to move quickly and Grand Oaks at the Lake had exactly what I needed at the time I was looking. I was very nervous to move into an apartment, because it had been a very long time since living in an apartment home and I am extremely sensitive to noise. I have had no issues with noise since living here. I do live on the first floor and I can hear my neighbor walking above me sometimes, but it doesn't bother me at all! I live in the 3-bedroom and I am absolutely in love with the spacious floorplan. I have an absurd number of various kitchen appliances and they all fit in my kitchen! I am a big cook and love that I finally have a place for everything in my kitchen without it feeling overwhelming / cramped. The rooms are spacious and the storage in the bathrooms are amazing! The use of storage space is one of my favorite parts of living here because I feel like I finally have a place for everything. I love that there is a screened-in patio for me to enjoy the outside without having to worry about bugs and mosquitos! There is even a storage closet on the patio. I am a mom, so I really appreciate the convenience of having the school bus come to the front office. There are tons of amenities for my family and I to enjoy like the swimming pool that overlooks the lake (this view is something I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the area), there is cornhole, ping-pong, hammocks, pickleball, and putt putt golfing so there are tons of things to keep us occupied. I love going for walks around the lake path with my kids. We normally go for scooter rides & bike rides around the community! I've always craved a connected community and I truly feel like I have found mine.

She's already put a notice about cleaning up our porches and going to fine us $100 if isn't done. I could go to maintenance to help. I'm afraid she'll charge me extra for that to. it's included in the lease. I have renter's insurance also. She's given me this impression right off the bat and I don't know her name. She's seems to be hard on maintainence also. They used to smile and waved to me! Now they walk by! I am a good tenant don't cause problems. I agree my porch needs cleaning up a bit. She's could have given us an alternative help for those of us who would need the help. With such things!
