This company is what wrong with the housing market and what will cause the next house crisis, they are bullies. I'm 37 years old. In almost 20 years of renting in LA, I've never been asked for tax returns -- not even when I bought a property. This is ridiculous. Extremely rude, invasive, and discriminatory. He also checked in twice during my first weeks to ask how I was liking my new place and got me a better parking space for my big car. I also really appreciated how frequently Tim checked in regarding maintenance requests and kept residents informed about next steps during the roughly eight weeks of exterior painting. The work was definitely disruptive at times, especially during the heat wave, but the communication helped, and now that it's complete, the building looks so much better and the improvement was worth it. Andrea and Spencer in the office are also extremely responsive via email, and Miguel, who manages maintenance onsite, is always helpful, especially considering the challenges that naturally come with an older building. Overall, I've been very happy with the level of service and responsiveness from the team. The photos on the web and even viewing it from the street don't do it justice. Oh and yes there's a gate to buzz in and the nice iron screen doors with double locks on each unit, bonus. You have the option of getting a monthly parking spot at the building. Or you can get city parking for $40/year which is a steal! And there are actually places to park, not unlike some areas of LA where cars are crammed like sardines and you drive for 30 mins to find a spot after a long day of work and then walk a ways.....
