That pork was divine, and we all agreed it was the star of the night. Our friendly server also recommended two different wines - a white from the area and a red. Both were great and perfect pairings with our meal. We ended with dessert which was torrejas and a homemade strawberry ice cream. I loved them both. We're picky, new restaurants open and close every day in NYC. Mar a Vila should be in NYC!! Or at least they should open a location there or in Brooklyn. They definitely need to open more locations somewhere. This food is too good to be kept on such a tiny island, away from so many people! Each dish had such a stunning flavor and this was easily one of the best restaurants we went to in the Soller area. If you want to order Paella make sure you go to their website and contact them a day ahead of time so they can prepare it for you. The chef came outside a few times to check on everyone which I thought was so sweet and really shows how much he cares about the quality of the food he serves. Banyalbufar wine is supposedly so good that it prompted Jaime I to invade the island over a thousand years ago. We agree with his judgement, the wine is quite delicious, though invasion seems a bit over the top. The service was perfect and our Paella Mixta went well with the slightly sweet but dry wine. Awesome place, highly recommended.
