Beautiful and tasty variety of fish-based tapas

Excellent value for money, friendly place. I agree with the other 5 star reviews on here....there are so many stupidly expensive eateries in Ibiza, this one is well worth a visit. White wine going at 2.80 Euros a glass...I couldn't believe it, having forked out quite a lot more elsewhere. And it isn't tapas in the sense one would be accustomed to in London, they are far more intricate and interesting. See the photo I've uploaded for an example. The interior has a modern rustic feel, and the food is presented on trendy serving boards. For 12 Euros (including a drink) you can walk away quite satisfied.

Tapas! Left to right - Brie , black pudding, beef, prosciutto.

The Hake with cheese ice cream was perfecto! The tapas were delicious as well. I'd recommend the prosciutto with cheese :) wine was very well priced and the staff was attentive and friendly!

    Wonderful pinchos!

I wanted a glass of sangria but they said it only comes in a jug. The sangria was good and wasn't too watered down. We also got 4 tapas to share: garlic chicken, Spanish omelette, octopus salad, and ham croquettes (they were out of the spinach ones). Everything was slightly too salty but overall good. The octopus salad should have been called ceviche given that it came with mussels and shrimp but I really liked how fresh it was.

All the plates look like they are hand painted, they are seriously gorgeous. The food and sangria was amazing! We had cod fish croquettes, eggplant, patatas bravas, garlic shrimp, and mushrooms. They were all amazing. The eggplant and croquettes were my favorite. We also had the red wine sangria which was delicious! I wish that I remembered our servers name because he was such a sweetie. He didn't speak complete english, but did his best. He was constantly up checking on us, refilling our glasses, and making sure we were enjoying our meal. The staff was having family meal while we were there, and he kept getting up to check on us! I felt so bad but he was so attentive and kind.

In the land of tourists and superrrr touristy restaurants, lies this awesome local tapas…read morerestaurant. With no English menu present, this is definitely a spot to hit up if you're in the mood to try something new & adventurous without knowing exactly what you ordered :) Came here twice during my super short stay in Ibiza (it was that goooood!) and both times = fantastic. The staff here is friendly and even with their limited English, they are able to help recommend typical / popular tapa dishes if you don't know what to order. There is no paper menu, so look at the boards on the wall for the food options. If you reallllly don't know what to order and not that hungry, simply grab your plate, go up to the bar, and pick up the finger sandwiches (roughly 1-2 euro/ piece). Prices for the food here is fair and reasonable and overall, here are my top recommendations for food: -Secreto Iberico: OMG, THIS DISH IS KILLLERRRRRR GOOOOOD. Yaaaas, I don't know what the sauce is but it's so damn delicious when you dip the crispy iberico ham in it (ham texture is similar to the crispy pork you eat at Korean places) -Callos: If you like tripe, go for this dish. Ahhhh, so yum yum with the different types of tripes used -Ensalada Escabeche con pollo: If you like something on the healthier side, order this badass salad. All of my guy friends thoroughly enjoyed this dish so.....that says a ton :) The sauce used with this dish is amazing Other random things to note: Seats - when you come in, simply sit wherever. -Splitting the bill: If you're in a group and would like to split the bill, let your server know before hand. If the place gets too packed, help your server out by stating how much each person is going pay and hand the server your card/money. -Apparently, this place is also a wine bar C: .....Definitely will visit again the next time I'm here Aiii. El Zaguan has an option where you can simply take small food items from server's trays as they walk around, and keep the toothpick from it as a token. When you've had your fill, they count your toothpicks and charge you for each one you've taken, and it's very reasonable! I tried about 9 different small items, and payed about $20 USD, and everything was great!

This place has a premium location right by the water. Unfortunately, it was at night and couldnt appreciate the wonderfull view. Yet, the sound of the waves was relaxing enough to make our dinning experiece special. The bread was warm and freshly made, imposible to resist! we got the veal carpaccio as an appetazier too. They also have a well structured wine list and the waiter was good at recomending a good red that went well with our dinner. I wanted to try the "Pescado a la Sal" but it was too late at night and the cooking takes at least 40 minutes. Instead, I shared the same fish with brother but baked instead. The fish was about 3 pounds and served on a bed of veggies. The waiter brings it to the table and then cleans it right there. The meat was very soft and the flavor not too fishy. One of my friends had a very nice steak and said it was the bomb ! This is the kind of place I would def want to visit again for the quality of its food, ambiance and amazing costumer service.

I will begin this review by saying that this area reminds me a lot of the Lincoln Road strip back in Miami where every restaurants hosts is harassing you to get a drink or some food at their restaurant but not this one in particular which is why we decided to check it out. The menu had a lot of options but with a high price for each item, we carefully chose dishes that we knew were filling but also satisfying. We ended up ordering the beef carpaccio which I will give a 7/10. The grilled octopus which I will give a 6/10 as it wasn't very tender and a bit hard. We got the Seafood Paella which I will give an 8/10 as it was delicious but has a very strong seafood taste, almost too strong. A salad 3/10 dressing was not great and barely had any leaves. Guac and "chips" 1/10 we ended up sending this dish back because it tastes awful and finally a Srimp Scampi 5/10 as it was a little too garlicky for my taste. Overall the presentation was great but the taste itself was underwhelming for the price. The service was the worst part and I feel like it's a trend in Ibiza as normally in Europe you don't tip. Our waiter was gone for so long and we ended up getting a completely different waiter at the end. They also put bread on your table and don't let you know it's not complimentary so keep that in mind!
