It has been over two weeks with barely any communication from anyone at the company. The movers themselves were unprofessional, and the customer service afterward has been even worse. We were pressured to pay before our belongings would be released, then promised the issue would be corrected later -- which clearly has not happened. Extremely disappointed with how this entire situation has been handled. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable or honest moving experience.

After the move, the driver calls me and tells me that they forgot to deliver my TV. So I had to stay home from work two days to get that delivered because he didn't show up the first day that he told me that he would even though I told him that I had to get to work by 2 PM. After I unpacked my stuff I realize that they also lost an entire bag of shoes. I called them to let them know that my shoes are missing. They told me they would call me back once they spoke to the driver, I haven't heard a word out of them since. This is absolutely crazy, especially since they overcharged me. I know they've been around for a while, but they're not doing good work. And I would not recommend them.

I had an unprecedented incident 2 days before my scheduled move. The home purchase did not go through and instead of moving into a home - I needed to find storage quickly. Needless to say I was in shock. Understanding my angst Melissa at Dixon Moving adjusted my move schedule at the last minute and worked to find me storage and took care of all the logistics. There was no way my head was in the right space to deal with this - and Mellisa took care of all of it. When I ended up moving - the crew was quick, polite and respectful of my property. warning!!! do not use this company and avoid. i requested a move with this company and went through…read morethe manager who discussed with the owner on a fixed price which he did not honor even after locking it in for more than a week with a deposit. come moving day they came in and went back on the initial agreement and tried to up charge thinking that we would be desperate because we we're vulnerable and needed to move. i spoke with the owner alex who held no remorse and had zero accountability to what took place. he was not willing to even negotiate and just abruptly canceled everything and offered refund of deposit. we followed all policy and procedure and happily obliged to every request to ensure appropriate pricing as well and it took more than a day to lock in the price, so there was more than enough time to fully understand what we were requesting to move. i understand you may be tempted from previous reviews, however, take it from me we were misled. take whatever you see on the reviews with a grain of salt. this company is unprofessional and will leave you high and dry when you need them the most. keep an eye on the movers as they will secretly record video call to the owner so they can up charge and even take their time to accrue more hours on the job so that you'll come out out-of-pocket hundreds more than the initial estimate. you have been thoroughly warned.

Then more red flags popped up then an episode of hell date. The first is the name. Very catchy, yet would a serious moving company name themselves after an adult entertainment site? But I'm not one to judge ‍. Second red flag was the deposit, sent via a strange online check. I was tired, actually sleep deprived with a new baby and didn't think to check to see if it was legit. As soon as I sent it I thought to myself hmmmmmm I should check some reviews . As you can see here they are fairly terrible. So in a panic I called my guy back, texted and emailed and nothing. He totally ghosted me. He was so nice during the call telling me oh I just started watching sons of anarchy blah blah blah. Ok random show to tell me about. And I should have spoiled it as revenge saying well the main guy dies in the end so how about them apples. Anyway I finally got ahold of customer service to cancel and they said oh no problem we will refund the money once it's in our account. I was like hmmmmm don't believe that. So I raced down to the bank (keep in mind I still have a newborn baby here), and they were like woah cancel this and lock your account, which thank you very much could have messed up my house sale. So in conclusion they thankfully never moved my stuff, I got a uhaul and did it myself. Was it fun? No of course not, but it builds character. As for only vans, the other reviews speak for themselves. Luckily I got out before it could have been too late. Could they do this to a young family just moving with a 3 month old baby??
