If you are tired of the same menus lining up the beach of Plat'ja D'Aro or looking for a slightly more elegant and air conditioned option, this is a good choice. Located in a hotel and a couple of blocks off the beach, Sa Cova is a spot most frequented by the hotel guests and locals who "know the spot".
This time the whole family stopped by Sa Cova for an elegant and air conditioned lunch. Melon soup was superb for a hot day - smooth melon-watermelon purée topped with shrimp. If there was no bottom to that bowl, I would never gave stopped eating it!
Scallops with spinach actually came on a flaky pastry and were light and delicious. Over the multiple years and visits, Fideua always impressed everyone who tried it (thin pasta dish flavored with ink fish "ink" - good alternative to paella).
Good place to check out a less oily and salty alternative to the beachfront restaurants. read more
