Terrible customer service!! I was appalled at the level of ghetto that I just experienced in front of other customers at that. I absolutely DO NOT recommend. So I've been coming here for about 5 months now and today my experience was just awful. First, there are all these new workers and my favorites, Anna and Cindy were not there. I'm not sure why or what happened but that should have been my sign to leave. I decided to stay anyways since I desperately needed my nails done. I sat down with Tina who I could already tell didn't know what she was doing. I simply asked for a shellac polish change with a square shape and left with crooked and uneven nails after I repeatedly pointed out that they were crooked and asked her to fix them. I will not be back and I definitely do not recommend Tina for your nails. read more

I've come here about 4 times now to get my nails done, and 3/4 have been great experiences. The salon is nice and clean and Anna did a great job on my gel acrylics. However, the last time I went was a disaster. I called and asked if I could make an appointment for that same day (which is what I did for my last 3 appointments). The woman on the phone said they don't take same day appointments (??) and that I would have to come as a walk-in. Okay. I get there and I was taken care of right away, but with someone I haven't seen before. I got coffin-shaped gel acrylics like I always do and she did such a horrible job, so horrible that I left the salon in tears. My nails are so lumpy, thick, and some are uneven. She didn't even do the gel properly, I left and some of my nails were still sticky which is something I've never experienced before at any salon. Also, she didn't clean my cuticles or give me a proper manicure, she just jumped right in to doing the acrylics. This is the worst manicure I've ever had and I'm embarrassed to have my hands look like this until I can get it fixed. The blasè, uncaring, and inconsistent attitude of the employees is a major turn off as well and I won't be coming back here again, which is unfortunate since East Lansing/Lansing has a limited number of decent nail salons. read more

I have been coming here for five months. This visit Tina finished doing the person she was on, got up went to eat then began to clean the place while I ( the only person in the lobby) continued to wait, She then assigned me to a man that showed up a half and hour later. I had already been waiting fifteen minutes. Last visit I watched Tina do a ombre nail design on my friend. When I asked to have the same design done I was told that they don't know how to do it. I reminded Tina that I watched her do it at which time she remembered me, and admitted to knowing how to do it. I requested shellac which is what was done on my friend, "no we can't do it with shellac." She refused to do it on my nails though and proceeded to have a male practice on my nails. Waited over and hour and a half (when I was told it'd be 30 mins just to be skipped, and when I asked about it I was told "well she's already in the chair so" ?????? Called to ask to speak to a manager and she was EXTREMELY rude over the phone and just said "mhm yeah mhm yeah ok ok yeah ok". Have had about 4 bad experiences at this location. Absolutely horrendous that I paid $50 for your nail tech to cut me with her tool right after I told her she was too close to my cuticles. Not to mention, she damaged my nails so badly four days ago, that the nail bed is cracking UNDERNEATH the acrylic - one of my fingers hurts so badly from this cracking I am going to have the shellac removed by my nail techs and give my nails a break. Will NEVER be returning - train your staff on how to drill on nails before they damage people's nails!!!!! read more

They are super rude, short with you when you call and in person. They say they don't take appointments every time I call but while I'm there they let everyone cut in line. Now they say it's just "same day" appointments that they don't take, well that's my first time hearing that. They've lost me as a customer. I waited 40 minutes for nothing. I'll never go back. First time I went, it was excellent and great service. The more busy they got, the worse the service was. Unfortunately I had to switch the nail salons because their service sucks, the girls are rude, and they don't take same-day appointments. They also don't return calls and have no voice machine for their phones mailbox. I used to send everybody to them and now they're the last place I'll get my nails done. read more

Top coat peeled off next day and I went back in for a redo and they charged me again. And it still was bad. So had to pay a total of $70 and still didn't get what I wanted read more

I really loved this nail salon. They did jewels, more complex styles, and the end result was great. However, the service has gotten terrible. Like others have said the employees are rude as hell and unprofessional. The "manager" is a joke. Appointments are never kept, but for some reason you have to make them? But they will let people walk in? It's idiotic. There have been SEVERAL occasions where I've had to wait at least 30 minutes after making an appointment. Today, when I showed up for my appointment the MANAGER started working on someone's nails at MY appointment time!!! , I asked another employee if there were only two technicians were working today and before the worker could answer the disgustingly rude manager interrupted so I asked her why she makes appointments if they aren't honored. She then proceeded to be rude (shocking). Then after she finished the customers nails, she began sweeping instead of starting my nails. This place is a joke. Don't bother. read more

I just got my nails done for a wedding and I couldn't be more disappointed. Everything went wrong. My pedicure went as normal but the problems started with my nails. I wanted a full set. My technician however wanted to try and make more money off me so she asked me to try gels and when I said "what's the difference" she said nothing about a price increase. I asked for an almond shape and she gave me coffin at best. When I asked her to round out the corners she said "yeah yeah yeah" like I was inconviencing her but she never did. The nails are all different lengths, my thumbs don't match and they're all different thicknesses and she didn't clean up the underside of edges of my nails so I'll have to file them myself when I get home. Luckily I'm not the bride, only a bridesmaid but I wouldn't recommend this place at all, unless you are militant and constantly mind the technicians of what you want otherwise they'll do whatever they feel like. read more
