Veteran) the very next day (Sunday) for a free, no pressure evaluation of my roof ; and they quickly found the minor problem and repaired it on the spot. They are a small, family owned company based out of McKinney, Texas and were referred to us by a friend. This roof replacement was their second major home overhaul we've used them on, they previously replaced our fence. Overall we are very happy with the service they provided and would recommend them to others. One area where they really stood out to us was Customer Service. Our Project Manager was Chad Smith and he was fantastic to work with. This was our first time going through a roof claim/replacement and we were thankful to have worked with Chad. From start to finish Chad made sure to always be available. We'd wake up to his white truck outside the door every morning before the crew showed up. This was so critical because you'll have questions and want someone walking you through every step of the process. Beyond that he operates like that friendly neighbor that is always willing to help. He was very much a part of the team doing the work. Whether it was using the rolling magnet to pick up scrap metal or coming in to touch up paint on the sidings after the crew had already left. The only nit pick would be their backend accounting. They may want to consider using a third party billing system at some point, just to streamline and organize things a bit more. However, it's really hard to complain because they were super flexible with our fence payments and we wouldn't trade their good natured accounting for anything else.

After interviewing TWENTY THREE contractors (and driving my wife / our neighbors crazy in the process), we made the decision to move forward w/Daniel Nicholas Roofing. They are based out of the Metroplex, so we knew they could be a company we could count on should downstream issues pop up; and, their A+ rating on the BBB coupled with 5-star ratings on Yelp and Angie's list went into our decision-making process. More than anything, however, this company's personal touch is what sold us over. Christina and Curtis made multiple trips to visit with us to discuss our options at length and also made several touch-points through the process to ensure that the installation was done to our satisfaction including stopping by the property at regular intervals during the installation. Then eventually a situation arose and a roof replacement was needed. Keith guided the process the entire way - from the initial meeting with the insurance adjuster and he made sure all hail damage was noted for the full claim. The roof replacement and fence stain were resolved quickly and trouble free. But there was a significant issue with the insurance companies assessment of our gutters and linear feet measurements of what needed to be replaced. It took several months, numerous phone calls and communication with the insurance company to finally get them to resolve the issue. Keith was persistent, polite, yet direct to finally get the insurance company to correct their own error and get the full gutters replaced. Keith is very knowledgeable about the insurance world and how to best navigate the regulations insurance companies must follow. Keith made sure to carry it to the finish line.
