Between my neighbor and I, the cost was quoted to be $1400, so $700 apiece. That quote was written on March 10, 2025. They didn't respond to any texts, then arrived today to repair the fence. Without any explanation, they doubled the price to $2800. The young man that my wife spoke to (Adam) told her that if she would show him the written quote, he would honor it. We retrieved it and brought it to him, and he still refused to honor the quote or even meet us halfway at $2000. After we were done talking, he even asked to have the quote back from us, to which we declined. So now, we still have a fence down, and have to start over with contractors trying to get estimates.

When the contractor arrived, Grandmother called me to unlock our NEST system. He then worked on the unit for an hour and told my grandmother that he needed to grab a part but would be "right back". He never returned! She called upset that she'd been waiting all day for him to return. I called the contractor office twice and left voicemails. No return call. I then called our home warranty. I was told that the Sunrise contractor "found" our system tampered with upon arrival and could not go further. What BS! I was livid. NOTE: we call our home warranty whenever we have a major issue and would never attempt to make repairs our self. Our warranty is paid in full annually! Two, how in the entire hell does a contractor actively work on a system for an hour but THEN claim he "found" the system tampered with? It is obvious to me that Sunrise did not know what the hell he was doing. If something seemed off, he should have advised us of the matter immediately (upon approach) so that we would be aware! I am a person of integrity. To even insinuate that we tampered with a system that is fully warranted is disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I assure you, someone will be asked to meet me in court if this matter is not resolved today!
