They cater for a large variety of cultures, have plenty of low priced goods and ongoing well chosen special offers. The rest of their prices are affordable and their service is excellent. They even have a sheltered fresh fruit and veg area in front of the store! They are crowded but fitting such a variety of goods in more than makes up for it. They have an area near the door with a properly secure place to tie your dogs monitered by cameras. You can actually stand at the counter watching them yourself if you like. The entire storefront is monitered by cameras watched constantly by staff behind the counter (and believe me, they do so constantly) so bicycles are also safe and secure. There's easy disabled access and parking's not too bad. There are bus stops either side on both sides of the road each only a minute's walk away. I could say so much more and it's all good but I shall leave with a last reminder of their excellent, prompt and friendly service. There's never a queue for long in this wonderful corner shop.

Selling a wide range of food e.g tins, dry goods you would expect they also have a extensive fruit and vegetable stall that is fresh every day. The owners are friendly and are willing to find things for you that have been put away near closing or to give you a reduced price if near the products sell by date.

That said, they do have a good range of things, most of which are brands we don't usually see in this country. What they sell can be incredibly cheap, last time I got an avocado for 17p and and a mango for 20p, and they were both tasty enough and kept fine. One downside to this place is that the car park is small and there have been queues to get in. Also, they don't seem to have the trolleys that you can put your baby car seat in, so it's not quite as easy as some other supermarkets. But worth stopping by for a few cheap goodies.

Items are frustratingly marked on the shelf edge as 'discontinued' when in fact this branch just isn't selling them any more. The fruit and vegetable section is quite good but don't get in the way of the staff stocking it or you'll come away with an injury as they take no prisoners. Till staff are unhelpful and will carry on conversations between themselves even if you are trying to talk to them! They don't enforce the '10 items or fewer' rule either so if you are buying milk you may find yourself behind somebody with a full trolley. However, it is always handy if you happen to be in town and suddenly decided you forgot that certain ingredient for dinner. Nevertheless, the store is often crowded, however, the check out staff are usually fairly efficient, providing a quick but characterless experience. A useful store, but would be better if it could continue its reshelving, and expand product range.

Tescos has great deals but the cuts can be a little too fatty. My only complaint about this store is how small it is. It's a freakin' mad house everyday, all day! On some of my days off during the week I'm thinking to myself, how are all these people NOT IN WORK?!! But yeah, decent selection of meats, and fresh fruits/veggies. Another thing to beware of is the car park is controlled by CCTV and charged per entry. This particular Waitrose, situated just off Kenilworth High Street with adequate parking, stocks everything you'd need. I've popped in here for random sauces, spices among other things and they have always been in stock. The butcher's there is fantastic and ordered me in some meat that I needed for a dinner party (which went very well). Also, anything can be ordered directly to the store to collect on the day so there's no need to worry! There's a good selection for foods for those who are gluten/wheat free, though it is a very similar selection to other food stores. While I no longer live in Kenilworth, when I pass through I do try to stop by. If for nothing else than to raid the reduced section.
