Have been coming here since I was a child when I thought it was the biggest store I have ever seen! Now it seems tiny in comparison. They are however, always well stocked and every time I have been are never busy so it's great when you need a few things and can't face the queues of the giant store. Less of a selection of things such as homewares, but if it's basic groceries you want they have everything really, even the more random things usually reserved for larger stores. The only qualm I have is the car park is not next to the store but off down the road, and the footpath can't accommodate 2 trolleys, so can be a bit of a mare passing! Still, not really Tescos fault there. Handy, has self serve checkouts and is always quiet.

This store however is pretty good, and usually quite quiet. It has a huge multi story car park behind it as well as a street level car park which is free to patrons so its always easy to park there which is a blessing when supermarket shopping! Seeing as its not all that big they have a great section for clothes shoes and accessories, an instore pharmacy and bakery, and a good selection of products. The staff are freindly and will help you find things. The only downside is that the regular tills are gone and have been replaced with unreliable self serve checkouts which slow things down, are highly impersonal and confuse the elderly and special needs shoppers. A long long of people with just a few items ready to pay show this move was a mistake driven by corporate greed.

Prepare to spend a lot of time in here if its your first visit and you're planning a walk down every aisle. It has a large clothing department, entertainment and toy department. Oh they also sell food. They have a really nice salad bar too. There are several retailers within the tesco arena shop including to name a few: dry cleaners, library, game and carphone warehouse. Has magazines, books , homeware, electricals, DVD's , CD's a pharmacy, bakery, etc. There is a valet car cleaning service in the carpark.

It is not a huge store but I think that Tesco are ultimately planning to extend the store. Even though its not huge it is very well stocked. They have a good fruit and veg department which is the usual good Tesco quality. They have a self serve petrol station, cashpoint and quite good parking. The store was really busy - as you would expect it to be on a Saturday and I can imagine it will be awful over the Christmas period but it is nice to have a tesco store in the town rather than having to travel to Coventry.
