It is not, but the nice lady at the bread counter has just put some in the oven for me, so I can pick up some freshly baked loaves in half an hour.

Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. I had to go up and down the aisles, searching for rice noodles or something similar, no employee in sight, finally had to ask a very kind gentleman who was wearing a Tesco jacket but was a driver off-duty doing his own shopping! Get the signage right, hire enough employees to provide a modicum of customer service. 4. overall impression is of a messy, dirty store 5. The ink cartridges deposited for recycling and Clubcard points are either being stolen by employees or handled so incompetently that it amounts to negligence. Why have a program if you cannot run it properly? I deposited 6 over the past three months and was credited for one. This is too much of a repeat experience to be a mere mistake. Tesco, don't annoy your customers with so-called services that you cannot execute properly. Either do the job well or don't do it at all.

Open 24 hours a day Mon - Sat and open on Sunday. If you love Tescos this is well laid out, bright and carries all stock ranges. There is now an ordering point for Tesco Direct and a new cafe run by Costa Coffee. Parking is a bit of a mare as it is always busy. Allow a bit of a walk. On site petrol station.

They seem to have a lot more variety and seems to be better stocked much more like a larger supermarket. It doesn't carry the clothing range, but otherwise it is very good. They stock some of the less popular magazines etc and their baking section is excellent. The check out process also seems to be a lot more efficient now too. It is very handy to be able to pop in if you are in town.

Just like the other Tesco I shopped last month, this store is massively huge with a major selection of produce (two aisles!), cheese, meats, and then dry goods. I'm almost glad I don't have a car, because my carrying capacity limited my spending budget here. The store also has a little snack restaurant, though I thought it had a pretty good selection for a cafeteria style deal. Great hours, it's open from Monday at 06:00 until Saturday at 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00. (Aside from the bus issue.) There's a petrol station in the parking area and a "freephone" near the tills for calling a taxi.

(You'll have to sit down for a coffee in San Carlo and quietly appreciate it from across the road) Without wanting to deplete my secret chilli sauce supply, these guys do the best in the world! I also heard they may be leaving soon, so I would make the most of them while they're still here. Best limes in Banbury and they're lemon grass is to die for, If you like your chillis REALLY hot check out their range. Udon noodles, and Oyster sauce are also good buys from here as well as Jasmine and Green tea's. For the more accomplish east Asian cooks, I also get my spring roll pastry here and I've not found a brand to beat it in 15 years. They are owned by the same people as the Thai-orchid restaurant, so if you like the food there, but hate the cost (£30 a head!!!!) I'd recommend taking a lil trip here in the morning and having an asian cook off at the weekend. My fave supermarket in the Banbury area.
