Small supermarket in central Kenilworth. Fairly predictable really, just like every other branch, but rather more compact. Plenty of parking and close to other local shopping. read more

Very very clean and tidy inside and out. Neatly dressed staff too. It hosts a great selection and…read morecarries items the other large retailers do not. It's hidden away at the back of the main street shopping area and its not signposted so you have to hunt for it. It's a status shop environment. Normally you only find this store in well heeled locations, this is no exception.
As we all know, Waitrose tends to be on the more expensive side. However, they do do fantastic…read moredeals on occasion and the reduced section is pretty good. This particular Waitrose, situated just off Kenilworth High Street with adequate parking, stocks everything you'd need. I've popped in here for random sauces, spices among other things and they have always been in stock. The butcher's there is fantastic and ordered me in some meat that I needed for a dinner party (which went very well). Also, anything can be ordered directly to the store to collect on the day so there's no need to worry! There's a good selection for foods for those who are gluten/wheat free, though it is a very similar selection to other food stores. While I no longer live in Kenilworth, when I pass through I do try to stop by. If for nothing else than to raid the reduced section.

I must say I do love ASDA, I tend to do most of my shopping here and often pop over to Morrisons to…read moresee what offers there is! ASDA is well known for being the cheapest of the main supermarkets and I must admit that I agree. I often spend less in ASDA and get so much more. ASDA now has added electronic self serve tills to my local store allowing you to scan your own shopping, great fun!! lol Asda not only sell groceries but sell electronics, cd's, books, clothes, and I could go on forever. Recently ASDA have started to put more things on offer, it had previously simply aimed at customers by being the cheapest but now have offers such as 2 for 1. Keep an eye out as you can get some brilliant bargains on roll back! Most asda stores now sell petrol too, which you can pay at the pump - great for if you have a baby with you that you don't want to leave alone. Overall I love ASDA, shame they don't do BOGOF items though!!

The food in Sainsburys is much better than our over local shop Morrison's…read more Im actually 99% certain you will find the food you buy here top notch. And if you dont like the food you buy, because you are disapointed just tell sainsburys. They gave me a voucher last time i did and they were really nice about it. Saisburys pricing isnt as cheap as other places so if you dont like paying extra than this is not for you. Store is fairly old but staff are great most of the time and its always easy to find what you are looking for. Always has great offers on as well, and the pre-cooked meat from the counter seems to be quality on top of the quality that you already get. Tesco's and Morrisons are not as great for quality but if you dont mind paying a little extra its worth it. Also bakery has a large range of cakes which is always nice, but make sure you dont leave it to late in the day or there wont be any left. Can become really busy which is a pain but overall good store to shop in, food great but is more expensive than other supermarkets.
Sainsburys is a great supermarket. And this smaller store is no exception…read more They have a great range of fruit and veg available even having seasonal items too which is good for a small store. They also sell the usual stuff like every other supermarket. Uusally this store gets quite full, but you never seem to queue for too long which is good. Customer services are helpful in every aspect, which cant be said for some stores! They also have a cafe too, which is really nice and reasonably priced too. I have been here a number of times on my lunch. Its really nice.
My weekly shopping store. Prices are cheaper than sainsburys and morrisons…read more Staff are ok, but not helpful when something is wrong Store is kept clean and products are well set out in a clean, easy to find manner Apart from it being cheap and reasonable value, the quality of the food for me isnt good enough. Yes it is good for some of the quality brands but Tesco's own brand for me is too cheap. For example the ham from Tesco's was 25p cheaper than Sainsburys. But the Sainsburys Ham was a lot lot better. Worth more than 25p better in my opinion. The self service tills do seem to be a bit of a pain and there always seems to be one plonker who is right in front of you who doesnt know how to use it. Can be an efficient way nevertheless. Tesco's is my weekly shopping store for branded goods, but i wouldnt use Tesco for its own branded stuff.
Good tesco store, not the biggest but has a wide range of foods and drinks from all cultures. It is…read morevery good value like most tesco's although due to its close proximity to the university of warwick many students work here who can be unhelpful and not particularly friendly. There is good parking and many other shops located with the cannon park shopping centre so it makes it well worth a visit if you live quite close by. However, for a more complete shopping experience i would adivse the Arena Park tesco which is the biggest in europe and sells almost everything in one store.
Centrally located on The Parade Tesco Metro is typically full of students and elderly people who…read morehave travelled by bus. The store has a bakery but the availability of bread is dependent on whether the baker has bothered to come in! Items go out of stock and are not replaced. Items are frustratingly marked on the shelf edge as 'discontinued' when in fact this branch just isn't selling them any more. The fruit and vegetable section is quite good but don't get in the way of the staff stocking it or you'll come away with an injury as they take no prisoners. Till staff are unhelpful and will carry on conversations between themselves even if you are trying to talk to them! They don't enforce the '10 items or fewer' rule either so if you are buying milk you may find yourself behind somebody with a full trolley. Good if you are in town and need something that M&S don't sell.

Tesco stores…read moreare popping up all over the place, but I often have found that when I needed something specific, the product was either out of stock or this particular branch did not have it. However, it is always handy if you happen to be in town and suddenly decided you forgot that certain ingredient for dinner. Nevertheless, the store is often crowded, however, the check out staff are usually fairly efficient, providing a quick but characterless experience. A useful store, but would be better if it could continue its reshelving, and expand product range.
