We FINALLY got down to working our deal and to sum it up , they tell me that the vehicle was substantially more than it said on the internet and they were not sure who put that advertisement on the internet on THEIR website . And then they begin to tell me how they had to clean it up and that would add to the cost as well . When i tried to point out the obvious , the GM ( especially) become very indignant to the point of being very rude . It was an unbelievable experience . I spent countless hours and days trying to get approved financing after a car accident I was involved in. no one would could get me financed after being rear ended and not at all at fault in the accident. my last plan was to purchase a car cash outright but I was limited on that plan. i would have had to buy on market place or other with only $3000-$4000 to get a not so dependable vehicle. I was in a real bad situation with my Gap insurance not getting on the stick to finish paying for the totaled Kia I was driving prior. I saw the ad on my iPhone for Coastal Auto Group. even though I had no faith left in Auto sales and dealerships I decided to fill out the quick application online which was fast. within an hour or so I was contacted then ask some additional information and in around 2-3 hours I was approved. Justin was the salesman and did a phenomenal job of working with me. very nice polite and informative! this was the least amount of time I have spent doing car financing which is in its self amazing to me. I sent all my documents required to Justin through email and text. that dude was awesome and even answered every little text like , you're welcome and no worries. my experience with Coastal Auto Group was the best car buying experience I have ever had in my 65 years of living. what they advertise is true unlike most all other sales and dealers. got my Kia Soul and love it!!! low miles and a nice car that fits all my needs for my work. I dropped it off about 2 Pm on Tuesday. They said they would't be able to get to it till Wednesday. And gave me a ride back to the campground. They called Wednesday about noon with a diagnosis and estimate. Broken bolts. He could order parts and have it ready Thursday afternoon. It was late Thursday- 4:30, but it was ready Thursday as promised. And it was lower than his estimate! He also gave a diagnostic report on some other things he found and suggested I have those checked as soon as I got home. Very happy with the service and the people.

Some of the vehicles need a little or a lot of restoration but there are always some showroom finds too. You could find choices that date back nearly a hundred years to much newer 2000's models, you just never know. I stop in on occasion to get a closer look at some of the beauties but I haven't bought a vehicle from them, yet. Their cars are mostly on consignment so prices can be all over the place from deep discounts to way above book value but that's to be expected when sellers are primarily calling the shots. On a couple of the cars that I've talked to them about I have been impressed with their extensive knowledge of cars in general but also with the detailed knowledge of that specific vehicle. As with anything used it is up to the buyer to do their due diligence and hope for the best outcome. I will say that a friend bought a vintage Corvette there and he was very satisfied with his purchase from beginning to closure but that "got to have" car just happened to me there yet. Since then, nothing, not a call or a returned call after multiple attempts. I bought that car from another dealer and have been back twice to BBB because of a truck they had. After 2 visits of about 20 minutes each, nobody ever came out to ask if I was interested in anything. What a joke.
