I was told that the owner cooks everything by herself so in that regard you know it's prepared with lots of love. * Decor 3 out of 5 = Average interior appointments. You won't be wowed away with the interior design or the silverware. * Food 4 out of 5 = we had the following : - Bread drizzled with olive oil. Nothing fancy, I know it's complimentary, but I would have preferred they gave us the olive oil with some salt and pepper so we can season our own bread. - Calamari- Lightly breaded, not too greasy with a crunchy exterior and contrasting soft interior. The marinara sauce was ok. - Caprese salad - The freshness of the tomatoes paired with creamy mozzarella and aromatic basil created a harmonious blend of flavors. I was disappointed that there was no drizzle of balsamic glaze. - Penne ala vodka - Perfectly cooked al dente and the best part of the pasta, it came out piping hot! The penne perfectly absorbed the rich and velvety vodka-infused tomato cream sauce. - Pollo francese - The tender chicken cutlets were coated in a light, lemony egg batter. The lemon butter sauce was a perfect complement, providing a zesty and velvety finish to each bite with a wonderful balance of savory and citrusy notes - Cannoli cream cake - Delicious and moist and i was told by the server all the desserts are homemade. The vodka sauce in particular was the perfect balance of creamy and cheesy. The chicken parm was juicy and flavorful. The service was fast and the servers constantly checked up on us to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. Overall, I highly recommend. Short Summary: These people rack up in fees as your event gets closer…read more Would not recommend it at all.   The venue was beautiful and it was how I imagined my wedding was going to be. But the manager ruined my wedding experience, I had to cancel my event less than a month away with them because they were trying to add so many fees and were forcing me to hire their staff when I specifically told her that I was going to bring my waitresses... she still wanted me to pay 15% in tips even though I told her I did not want her staff. The owner is very greedy and even though we both agreed on a price for flowers, centerpieces, and decorations she decided to change her mind last minute. The manager told me to bring her a picture of how I wanted my centerpieces to look and they said they were going to make them. Yet when I arrived to show her how I want my centerpieces she said it was going to be more money, so I decided to cancel the flowers with her. I asked her if I could bring my own and decorate the lamps myself and she said: "no those are our lamps" even though I was renting out the entire venue from her if you want to decorate it will extra $1k. She then went on to say that if my bartender wanted to use the table in the venue it was going to be an extra fee. The manager never disclosed any of the extra fees for the flowers, for bringing my own stuff, and trying to decorate the lamps or even the bartender table. She decided to rack up the prices last minute because I didn't want to use the expensive services she wanted to charge me, even though it's not what we agreed on. I had previously read a comment regarding this issue but decided to try it anyway, but it's all true. They raise your hopes up and deceive you about how much it will actually cost. As the days go on they begin to increase prices on the things they originally promised on. I had put down a $2k deposit because I was so I love with the venue but I had to loose it because of the "additional fees" she wanted to charge me. She did mention to me that she was going to give me a credit for it but I told her I was never going back there. I had such a terrible experience and it was all ruined due to her seeing that she can take advance of me and my situation. My wedding being a month away I had to give up my venue because of them deciding to add fees on top of fees without any previous information. If she would have disclosed the EXTRA fees at the beginning when I originally booked the place then it would have been a different case. They completely took advantage of me and my family. I do not recommend anyone to book their wedding or event here.
