Honey might in the baking aisle, or it might be in the jelly and jam aisle, or it might be in the third out completely unrelated to the previous. Secondly. The produce section and the meat section are tiny and constantly out of what you actually need to make a meal. Thirdly. There's a homeless man in the parking lot whose job it is to consistently be present during working hours, and to yell at people who are packing groceries into their cars. Fourthly and most importantly. They have undertaken to a replace as many cashiers as possible with machines, and we have undertaken so severe the cost-cutting measures that it is now entirely possible to check out your batch of groceries while the next person in line is still packing theirs, and the previous person in line is piling groceries on top of yours. I buy Spam regularly, so I know what it is supposed to look like--it should be a light pink color, not dark. I brought it back to AR Supermarket, not just because I wanted a refund, but because I wanted to let the store know there might be a problem with this batch. They should check the other cans, and if they have the same issue, they should remove them from the shelves to protect customers. Unfortunately, the manager--an older Korean gentleman with glasses whose name I don't know--had a very poor attitude. He insisted that the dark color was normal. I showed him the Spam and pointed out that the top half was dark while the bottom half was pink. I asked him, "If this is normal, why are there two different colors in the same can?" After seeing that, he had nothing more to say. As a regular AR customer, this is the second time I have experienced spoiled food from this store. That is very disappointing and makes me question the quality control of the products they sell. So no more shopping at here

Very disappointing visit, should have looked for a Subway or another Deli . The Deli service felt unfriendly and unkind. The turkey provolone had only a sliver slice of provolone. My usual supermarket is Stater Brothers which offers much better friendly service .

It's always nice to have a few things in the room after you've had a long day at the parks! The location was a great spot as well being close to the park. I picked up a handful of basic snack items, such as potato chips, candy, and a few beverages like soda and bottled water. They also had a lot of different types of snacks available in this store, so it was relatively easy for me to find a few things that I could take back into our room. Vons is is a great option to purchase extra food or snacks that may cost too much money to buy either within the parks themselves or from hotel gift shops. The store itself was very clean and very well organized and found what I needed in no time! The checkout process was also fast, and I was able to quickly get out of there as I wasn't looking to buy much and just wanted to bring back everything to the hotel for our stay during the Disneyland trip. Vons was a good stop while on a quick trip to Disneyland. If you are staying near by and would like to pick up some food, drinks or even some quick groceries for your room, Vons is a good option to have close to the parks.

Stopped by Harvest Fresh Market after running errands because a friend recommended it. Technically…read moreit's in Garden Grove, but it's basically Anaheim already (Just 11 minutes from Disneyland.) The store isn't huge, and the layout is a bit tight, but the selection is surprisingly broad with tons of Middle Eastern staples. As a Halal market, there's no pork at all, but what did surprise me was seeing camel ground meat, plus things like tripe that's definitely not my everyday grocery finds. There's a giant section of nuts and dried fruit (almonds, pistachios, cashews, pumpkin seeds, all the goodies). Keep walking and you'll hit a full wall of colorful spices from all over the world, enough variety to make me stare for a while. They also have an entire aisle dedicated to tomato pastes and sauces, both imported and local, which is oddly satisfying to compare. Their fresh flatbread is supposed to be popular, but I went in the evening and it was already sold out. They also carry a tiny Asian section with Korean ramen and a few Japanese/Korean sauces and rice. Fun discovery: the drink section has Egyptian Coca-Cola in glass bottles, made with real cane sugar similar to the Mexican version but definitely different from the U.S. corn-syrup Coke. Near the exit there's a small bakery with pretty decent-looking cakes at good prices, plus a little food hall (including Kabab We Kofta serving Egyptian dishes) and a perfume/accessory shop. Overall, it's a very Middle Eastern-leaning market with lots of unique finds. If you like exploring international ingredients or need things you won't find in American grocery stores, this place is worth a stop. And if you're hungry afterward, there are several Middle Eastern restaurants nearby like Sababa Falafel Shop (Palestinian) and Damascus House Cuisine (Syrian). The only negative is the employees are not friendly. When you ask an employee if they have a certain item, COMPLETE WITH PHOTO IN HAND, I've had them look the other way as if they don't speak English or they say "NO" without even looking at your photo. Fortunately, this is not always the case, but I've had that more than once. Some are helpful, but none are very friendly or overly accommodating. They also have the "fish fry" area if you'd into that. I've done it a few times when I can find fresh fish that meets my liking and it does turn out delicious and, of course, beats cooking it yourself. Overall, I'm fine here and the prices are "good"....

Stopped by Shun Fat to pick up some groceries while getting ingredients ready for dinner, and…read moreoverall found some pretty solid deals. For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up. Overall, still a great spot for affordable grocery shopping, especially if you're cooking at home and want to save a bit here and there. （visited on 3/31/2026)
