Our power bill is considerably lower and it is so quiet, we never hear it come on and you can not hear it blowing through the ducts. Rusty and his crew were awesome. Very knowledgable and the install was super fast and professional. They even added a return vent and cleaned up perfectly! He has been servicing our air conditioner for five years. When questioned about if the unit was at the end of its life span, he told us that the unit seemed fine, and he didn't see why replacement couldn't be put off another few years at the very least. (it has been a year now, and we've had no further problems. We've been using Pape since the early 90's when they had to come out and fix a mess that Wolverton Air had left. Always very professional, and no matter which house we owned at the time they have always considered each call a REPAIR call and not an opportunity to try and talk us into a new unit. That coupled with their reasonable charges is why we don't hesitate to call them. Particularly now, when the unit we currently have has been repaired a few times in the last eight years, and just died again last night. Since it is original to the house, we are pretty sure it is at the end of its service life. But, I have no fear that Pape will not do right by tomorrow when they arrive to check it out.
