One more thing worth adding: I kept the handwritten options sheet the tech left behind, and looking at it now tells the whole story. Six tiers from $852 to $16,100, with monthly payment numbers written under every single one to keep your eyes off the totals. The top tier stacks three separate surge protection packages on the same quote and includes a "Factory Panel Refresh," which isn't a standard electrical service. Smoke detectors, USB outlets, and bubble covers (all inexpensive parts) are bundled in at premium pricing. Even the bottom "Economy" tier of $852 to replace one breaker is double what it should cost. I paid $512 which is way overpriced. This isn't diagnosis, it's a sales script. Why did I pay? I didn't know. I also was not able to use my office until this bad breaker in my electrical panel was fixed and I work from home.

Another electrician had come out earlier to do an estimate and struggled to diagnose what took Nestor a quick look to figure out. The other electrician quoted a crazy price and we were hoping that Nestor would be reasonable. And he was. The work was done efficiently and when he walked out, everything was cleaned and worked well. We will call him in the future for all of our electrical needs.
