They isolated the problem to a faulty toggle switch with built-in dimmer slider. They didn't have an exact replacement. By fiddling wires in the wall and setting the dimmer to a certain spot they got the assembly to not continue shorting. When they left, I was missing a wall plate screw in a highly visible area. I later discovered that 1/4 of the house (different area) had no power, including the security system, as they hadn't reseated a breaker they had shut off during troubleshooting. Weeks later the furnace guy found the attic light had been left on the whole time. The Cotton bill for that minor service (with no repair) was more than my monthly pension payment. I will never call Cotton again.

After the first visit to my home the owner realized, due to the age of my panel, the job was going to take a little more than just replacing the existing panel. With his decades of experience and ingenuity he and his son installed and rewired the panel in one day. As hot as the weather was, after days of rain causing delays, he competed to work in one day. Forget calling the other electrical companies that don't hold a candle to One Call Electric. Take my word that they are the best, in my opinion, and did exactly what I needed at a reasonable cost.
