Based on my experience, the mitigation service did not meet expectations. Employees were not professional. Dalton, in charge, pointed out things that were covered by insurance, that infact, were not. Let me start by saying I was in the construction industry for over 45 years when I retired, although it was commercial not residential, Rytech is the most unprofessional company I have ever delt with. I agreed to work with them because of my insurance companies recomenndation, but I would never do it again. AT the 1st of April 2025 we had a water leak in our kitchen that delt with mold remediation, the demolition of the cabinets, and mold remediation went fine, then they had no idea what to do. i did most of the leg work for them finding the original cabinet manufactuer, then when they found out that the original manufatuerer was not an option they came to a complete halt, so the part of our kitchen that was torn out stayed just exposed studs for 5 months, then again I and my insurance adjuster had to do the leg work for them (actually the insurance company took over that part and contractwed directly) andfound a cobinet restoration company, then after me complaining about the studs the finally came out and insulated and put up the drywall, then after the cabinets were installed by the cabinet company the finished the work 2nd week of October. Three dqys later they emailed me an invoice for my deductable which was $1,000.00 to much, I tried to tell them it was incorrect, but they wanted to do was argue with me so I had to get my insurance aduster to contact them to correct it. The tehy delayed sendin it to me through the US paotal service, kept sending it email, finally senit through regular mail and I mail it even though they were to DAMN cheap to provice a self addressed enevelope. I hired Rytech per recommendation of my insurance company. I was dealing with AJ he wrote a quote 2000.00 higher than he initially thought kept inviting I needed a storage pod for everything I was keeping and I thought that was crazy. I spent the next 4 weeks moving my belongings upstairs to store. The day came and the crew came and took out all the trash and moved the last of the belongings I was keeping upstairs. The work was totake 2 days they finished in one but what got to me more was all the things on the invoice that never happened but I was charged for. Like hazmat suits masks and respirators. I paid labor for 5 guys 8 hours and they sat around for about 4 due to lack of work. I asked about an adjusting the bill since I did most of the content migration and was told to see AJ who showed up for about 20 minutes on the start day and never talked to me personally. Communication was poor I called and left messages and got no response. I was told at first it would be 50% down then I was told 70% and the day before I was told 100%. The morning of the start they were an hour late and I thought I had been scammed out of my money I had to call and found out they were stuck in traffic coming up from Chicago. I thought I was hiring a local company from Milwaukee based on the listings online. I wouldn't hire them again and I hope no one else does after reading this review read more

This was an extremely challenging time with extensive water damage requiring four months of repairs between start/finish. Each time I have reached out to Linda, she has responded promptly (weekdays, weekends, evenings, etc) - beyond what I would have expected. She has been pleasant, engaging and reassuring throughout the process. I had a bathroom leak that ruined some subfloor. The tile floor needed to come out and some of the subfloor as well, dehumidifers needed to be brought in for several in the bathroom itself and also the crawlspace below, and mold remediation. I won't go into it all but the first company that came out was awful. The 2nd company gave me an estimate of about $5000. Based on a great review of Rytech of Georgia, I also called them and spoke to Doug who I believe is the head of the Georgia division based in Kennesaw. He came out and gave a quote of $2000. Yes, less than half the price of the 2nd company (the first company never even got back to me with an estimate) for the same work. I learned that a lot of these companies apparently will give on overly high estimate and tell you your insurance company will probably cover it even though they may not. Rytech told me upfront that it was unlikely that insurance would pay and I subsequently spoke to a public adjuster (which I had not heard of before but now highly recommend) who looked over my policy and said even if they would it probably would not be a good idea to file a claim if I could afford to cover it myself. Anyway, the Rytech crew came out and were a real pleasure to work with. Very personable young men. Whatever other estimates you get, I highly recommend Rytech Restoration for water damage remediation. read more

Driver of the service van drives extremely recklessly and dangerously. Cut into my lane while I was driving my infant son to daycare multiple times and was swerving through traffic. Shame that anyone from this company operates company equipment so irresponsibly. read more

Do not use. Rytech was dispatched by Allstate to dry the water from a leaking toilet. I knew up front that this whole event was going to be painful, little did I know. In the process of preparing the drying equipment, the Rytech technician broke my bathroom mirror and scratched my kitchen table while placing the mirror on it. There is a 12" long gouge in the table. I took pictures and notified Rytech and Allstate immediately. Since then, Allstate has told me to find a comparable table for Rytech to replace it with. Rytech doesn't want to replace, but offered to have it refinished. The refinishing process takes over a week. Has anyone with two children under 5 tried to eat without a kitchen table?? That is not an acceptable solution. I don't know what I am going to pursue next. read more

Worst experience hiring a company we've ever had. They came out and tested and gave us a quote. We hired them for the job. They said we had to pay half up front. So on their first day we gave half- in cash- which was a huge mistake. They started the job. To remove mold from the ceiling in our den. They re tested and the levels were higher.... They said the only way to get rid of it was to rip out every piece of wood and get an entire new roof, decking and drywall. We hired a roofer and set a date for both roof and Rytech to come out so Rytech could treat the support beams. Our roofer did his job and waited for a while for the mold guys to show. They never did so we called them. They lied and said they came over and we told them to go away- never happened. We said we needed someone to come out and they said their workers walked out and they couldn't. While our roof was fully open you could see the sky we had to call around other mold remediation comp. to come finish their job. We emailed them and said we want a release of contract because they didn't hold up their end. They never responded. 6 months later they ( Randy) called to collect their debt. We laid out the situation and they said they would look into it. They asked for proof. My husband asked for an email address to send it to. Randy never got back to him. My husband called a week later saying he needed the email address to send proof. Randy admitted he forgot, then said he would email him that day. He never did. Now we just got a bill from a bill collector company asking for $5k- which is $2,000 more than he even originally said we owed. And they claiming we never paid the half up from when they started the job. What was already a very stressful situation turned into a nightmare because we trusted Rytech to do their job, and that was a mistake. read more

My parent's house in Pensacola, FL had a pipe burst right before they were to go on vacation. They were panicked. Worried that they were going to have to miss their trip (and lose deposits, etc), Rod & Cody from Rytech put them at ease. They responded promptly and got the cleanup underway immediately. They worked around my hectic work schedule, so that I could let them in and out of the house, and they ALWAYS kept me well informed of the work they were doing. These guys are TRUE professionals that take pride in a job well done. They took our needs into consideration when performing their work and were clean, trust-worthy, and courteous at every turn. I have dealt with other restoration companies in the area - but none were as knowledgeable and thoughtful as Rod and Cody. Their background and training lead to a worry-free (as much as the situation can be) experience. My house was recently struck by lightning and caused a large amount of damage. The damage included burst pipes in my recently finished basement. The following day after we called Chris he was at my door ready to help. Even short handed Chris made quick work of the situation and left my house dry and ready for repair. Clearly they are just one of those sham companies that cozy up to insurance companies. We made the mistake of filing a claim with Liberty Mutual about a possible burst pipe. They sent this some bozo out from this company out who admitted to have no plumbing experience. They were going to mitigate the non-existent water damage (after getting an actual plumber out it turned out there was no leak). They then billed my insurance company almost $200 for absolutely no service. In fact, I got their "representative" out of my house as quickly as possible. read more

I had a pipe break in my kitchen. My insurance company sent this crew out on a Friday morning and they told me I had mold in my kitchen. They left a huge dehumidifier in my home and said someone would come every two days to check on it. I was told the mold estimator would get back to me that afternoon to do an estimate. I waited the rest of the day, all day Saturday, all day Sunday and half the day Monday before I finally called them to see where the estimator was only to find out they had sent their entire crew to the east coast for the hurricane! Nobody came to check on the humidifier for four days. On Wednesday, Joel finally called me and said they could have the estimator there the following morning at nine. I took the time off work and SURPRISE nobody ever showed or called to say they were running late. I was so upset I called the office and asked to speak with the owner only to be told the owner doesn't "take phone calls" Maybe that explains a lot. Apparently the owner doesn't know what his workers are doing and they don't want you to let him know. If you have a job with these people and a money making hurricane occurs anywhere else in the state, you will be abandoned. No integrity, unprofessional and my next letter is to the insurance company. If this company is the preferred vendor in my area, i'm screwed! read more
