I have been going here for a long time, feeling like I was in good hands, however, now, I am not…read moreso sure, they have done so much to my eyes, like taking away some of the vision in one eye to improve the other eye, then they put in the plugs for dry eye, which did not last any time until they were gone, they they said I needed cataract surgery, instead of waiting until I could tell I needed something done, I consented right away, Neither did I ask for a second opinion, then they said I needed lazer surgery to remove a film on my eye that they said comes sometimes after cataract surgery, however this time I only consented to one eye, because by this time I was feeling like I had already had too much done, (but how can I be sure not being a professional?) but I am not a happy camper after about 2 years after the cataract surgery, my eyes have a glare to them, which could possibly be from not allowing them to do the lazer on both eyes? but I have a sticky watery substance that comes from my eyes now, that sticks to my eyelashes, and lately I have woke up to seeing thru a cloudy/muddy like film over my eyes, that will go away after I blink several times and wash my eyes out, I am scared to go back honestly for fear of what they might recommend next, am I being paranoid, or did I move too fast to begin with? I have definitely lost my confidence.

I'm so grateful I chose Dr. Downing, he's very caring and went well out of his way to make sure I understood everything and got all the meds I needed. My recent experience with Love & Warden was deeply frustrating and frankly unacceptable…read more Following an examination with Dr. Bray, I was explicitly told that coordination with my cataract surgeon's office would be necessary for proper follow-up care. That coordination never happened. Despite clear direction and the importance of continuity between providers for something as serious as cataract treatment, Love & Warden failed to communicate effectively with my surgeon's office or help facilitate the necessary follow-up appointment. As a patient, I should not have to act as the go-between for two medical providers who are supposed to be working together in my best interest. Equally disappointing is the excessive time patients are required to wait in their office. The delays for what should be routine exams are unreasonable. You can plan on sitting well past your scheduled appointment time with little communication or regard for your time. For a practice that asks patients to arrive promptly and respect their schedule, the same courtesy is clearly not extended in return. Between the lack of care coordination and the consistently long waits, this experience has fallen far short of what I expect from a professional eye care provider. Patients deserve timely service and proactive communication -- especially when dealing with something as important as vision and surgical follow-up. Unfortunately, Love & Warden delivered neither.
