    Buttermilk Pancakes
    Julia H.

3.5 stars Food was delicious, service was a bit slow. There was only one waitress for all the tables - about 6-7 tables. We ordered the following: - chicken souvlaki platter - buttermilk pancakes - Picklelicious Pastrami Sandwich It was all very delicious. The sandwich had so much meat!! Paired with the mustard - it was so good! The buttermilk pancakes were really good. It was crispy and fluffy at the same time. They also have real maple syrup! The chicken souvlaki was also very good, however, I think they forgot the dressing for the salad, as it was a bit bland.

Stumbled on this restaurant while in town for a few days for work. I was very pleased with the meal. Excellent pastrami sandwich, fast/friendly service. I would highly recommend.

Huge chicken avocado sandwich with fries--lunch for two

Outstanding salad and chicken bacon avocado sandwich for lunch. It's a bit confusing knowing where to order for take out because it's it marked, and the woman we spoke to seemed confused. I'm glad we got what we ordered and that we had time to wait for our food. It was worth the wait for that yummy food. The sandwich was massive and made a good lunch the next day. Highly recommend!

This is the only place that I know of in southern CT where you can get a good pastrami sandwich. While on the pricey side, its pretty good. Service is fast, but they definitely don't rush you to turn the tables over. Throughout the years, the sandwich has gotten a bit slimmer, but still a generous portion. They bring out a bowl of pickles which are delish- definitely not the kind you get from a Vlasic jar.matzoh balls are homemade and very yummy. Its clean and the service is good.

I went here with a large group of family. We were seated promptly at a table providing plenty of room for all of us. The restaurant wasn't crowded and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a #22 "The Rye" sandwich. It was an overstuffed turkey sandwich with Brie on a ciabatta roll. Very tasty. I liked their house mustard on it! I enjoyed the cole slaw but the verdict was 50/50 amongst those in the group. Overall, I think the negative reviews are far more negative than warranted.

I have no idea how this place is still in business with the prices they charge. 3 plus dollars for a 12 ounce bottle of water.

This place is both terrible and overpriced. Avoid. We got tasteless matzoh balls. The rye bread is ok but waaaay overpriced.

Worst deli food ever. Greasy, tasteless and ridiculously overpriced. Service was fair but rushed. I will never go back.

I was happy about the place as soon as I laid eyes on it I was drawn to the kawaii all pink very girly aesthetic, the ambiance feels like a well lit all pink "Alice in teddy bear land" experience. I love that all deserts sold here are Brazilian in origin. They taste very good and some of them have the baker`s own twist and interpretation. The staff was very friendly, helpful and provided great assistance displaying very extensive knowledge of the sweets in display and made sure to let us know of their Savory options that are also available at selected times in the bakery. COCONUT CAKE- This is a well sized little to go tin cake. It has plenty of shaved coconut to give the cake the perfect coconut texture to the cake while at the same time having this moist cake with a nice well balanced body, creamy yet firm. I wasn't planning on buying dessert as I was in the mall, but couldn't pass up the shop as I walking by and ended up leaving with a pretty decent sized piece of tiramisu! I am sad to update my review to 1 star after my latest experience(s) here…read more 1. I believe I got food poisoning from here, and reported it to the establishment. I got extremely, violently sick for 2 weeks and shared everything with the restaurant so they could look into it and prevent other patrons from getting ill. Instead, they did not respond to my report and completely ignored it. I the reported them to the city inspector, who went to investigate them, and they did tracing of my case. 2. The first floor smells like sewage, and had been smelling like that for many months, if not close to a year. The city inspector told me that they notified the restaurant and the restaurant said they fixed the smell -- I went back in and it still smelled like sewage. So, the restaurant had flat out LIED to the investigator about the bathroom smell on the first floor. 3. The floor and chairs/ seats are dirty with stains. They absolutely need to clean way more. The safety, sanitation, and hygiene in this restaurant is one of the worst I've seen and experienced. If you value your life and health, avoid this place.
