Ever since The Everett Clinic was taken over by Optum, it's been a steady and disappointing decline…read morein care. Amazing Dr's and caregivers have left. Insurance coverage is now questionable? Trying to find new GP's is an absolute PITA because either no one is taking new patients or the wait time is inexcusably long. Absolutely ridiculous when it comes to patients care!!!

What a waste of time and money seeing Dr Lefulesele Kholoane for sleep issues / insomnia. I was…read morereferred to Optum by my naturopath (and was asked by family dr to see a sleep dr) so I went for it. She coldly started the virtual session like she hated being there and asked why I was here and I told her I had a VERY long history with health issues that affect my sleep and was referred. I started to go through my sleep issues and the meds I've tried. She cuts me off saying she doesn't need to hear what happened before and only wants to know what's going on right now. Well, every dr I've been to wants to know all of my medical history and medication interactions. She could care less about my issues, was unable to think holistically, and would interrupt me repeatedly in a rude tone AND repeat herself without answering my questions. AND managed to insult my naturopath who was the one to refer to Optum sleep medicine! What a joke!!!! I told her my naturopath was suspecting if I have a rare form of narcolepsy that presents almost like insomnia or extremely delayed circadian rhythm and she said "well a naturopath isn't a sleep doctor" -- um, yes, and that's why the naturopath referred me to you?!!! (One of my questions: if I am currently on meds that also help me sleep, won't it affect a sleep study so getting one is pointless until I am able to get off of my meds? She wouldn't answer.) She went on to repeat for the 3rd time that she only addresses sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs, and delayed circadian rhythms, instead of having a single unique thought to share. I've had better luck after my appt w her by just asking AI! Worse and colder than a robot.
