My car was overheated and towed to their repair shop, or a repair container with no address. They diagnosed the problem to be the radiator and thermostat issue. After 3 hours' repair, they claimed the problem is solved. After we drove out of the store, it was only good for 1.5 hours and it is overheated again, thanks to their magical hands. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere and was towed again. They charged 865 bucks: 202 for the parts and 600 for the labor cost ($150/hour): I just don't know where the extra $63 comes from. Ryan actually worked 3 hours on my car, and said it is a 4-hours work. He explained how good he is and was able to finish the 4-hour work in 3 hours, and gave me a funny example of his 12 year old brother would use longer time and charge even more if mechanics are paid by actual working hours. I was just amazed how well he can debate; I think he should run for the president because the two candidates both suck at it. Hey Ryan, I think your 12 year old brother would do that better than you. Next time I want your brother to fix the car for me. Please visit this space if you want your car broken on the road again, being overcharged, and joining some really funny debate. Breaking down on a Sunday is a harrowing concept. Luckily, I found Ryan on Yelp who works for himself and is therefore available 7 days/wk. My car just stopped responding to the gas on my drive from Denver to San Diego. I was nervous I was going to need a new transmission. Driving along I70 our car began a high-pitched squealing. We made it to Eagle and looked for mechanic help. At 6 pm I wasn't very optimistic ... Until I saw Ry on the Fly (5 stars) was always available. I called and he arrived about 5 minutes later. Ryan proved to be honest and extremely capable. He Diagnosed the problem after a brief test-drive and some investigation under the car. Apparently the new clutch I had replaced 3500 miles earlier had been done improperly resulting in a worn-out portion of the clutch assembly. It was beyond the scope of a parking lot repair, but he assured us it was safe to drive the 35 miles back to our home. Tomorrow its back to the original garage to talk about a do-over. It's so hard to find a true honest mechanic. Ryan does a really great job and doesn't stop until the work is done. He gave us a really nice price quote and got all the parts right in time. He doesn't overprice like most mechanic shops do. He works independently and is willing to drive to your property to work on your vehicle. Willing to work with your schedule as well. Where do I start... had him do leaf springs and the bushings have squeeked ever since. Had him replace my rear brake rotors and ever since, the car violently started shaking at 65 mph.. turns out brake drums were suddenly way out of round. Had him give me tune up and it misfired so bad because the distributor timing was so off I had to take it back. Had him do my brake booster and he created a huge vaccum leak from missing o ring (which he also never admitted) took it to a different mechanic and they put o ring in and fixed the problem. Of course that was after I got the brakes bled professionally and had brake fluid re flushed because he left so much air in the brake line. This was all within the span of less than a month and every job he did required clean up from another mechanic. I'm not on here asking for reimbursement, I don't want it and I don't want him near my vehicles. Just giving fair warning to others. read more

Initially Ryan seemed very helpful. He told me I needed a new fuel pump, put that in and it still didn't work. He came back the next day and changed spark plugs, coils, etc... and said I was now in great shape. Car started and worked for one day. The next day when the car would not start again I called Ryan only to discover that he has blocked calls from my number! 800 bucks down the drain. read more
