The test is not FDA approved but has been fast tracked under the emergency authorization use act and is believed to be reliable. I came to LabCorp as a walk in for a pre employment drug screening and waited 2 hours and 45 minutes before I was finally seen. After I had already been waiting for about two hours, I politely went up to the front desk and asked if the woman working there had any idea how much longer the wait might be. Instead of simply answering my question, she gave me an annoyed look and with an attitude in her voice told me to sit down and keep waiting. I completely understand that walk ins may have to wait longer than people with appointments but there is absolutely no reason to be rude to someone for simply asking a question after they have already been sitting there for two hours. Unfortunately, this also isn't my first terrible experience with LabCorp. I recently moved to Arizona from San Francisco and about three months ago I went to a LabCorp location there for a blood draw with an appointment and still waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. After two awful experiences at LabCorp in two different states, I can confidently say I will never be going back. PLEASE, please, please go somewhere else if you have another option. Long waits are one thing but extremely long waits combined with rude customer service make the entire experience extremely frustrating.
