RWT is a fairly huge TCG collectable shop! Walking into the entrance from Sawtelle side makes you feel as if you're going to a store in Japan. This shop is located on the 2nd floor of The Block plaza. Coming from Sawtelle, you into a hallway and up a set of stairs. You are immediately greeted with everything TCG related. There are sealed products along the wall, show cases with graded cards and fan made merch?, folders with loose singles. Then along side of the area near the window you'll see table set up for gaming. There is a lot to check out, I can't say the prices are retail but more likely at competitive market rates. The craziest part is, that is not all. Walking towards the opposite side of the shop are sports cards. The area is not equally as large as the TCG side but there was for sure a lot to look at. A really fun shop to stop by if you're in the area. I almost missed this hidden gem. I was right next door at a soft serve shop and saw a singular door that the bottom of some staircases. On top of the doorway had the letters "RWT" and saw a few people entering. I looked up the Yelp page and to my surprise it was a TCG shop. Highly recommend stopping by to look around. Of course we had to take a yonder. They have a ton of PSA graded and bulk cards for cheap. Love that they have bulk cards laying around for you to look through, some are in binders some are in small boxes. Also have a ton of seating for their community events, including trade nights and tournaments. Kept clean, tons of trashcans at the end of each table. We visited on a Saturday that was pretty warm, high 80s with high foot traffic and it stayed well ventilated and cool with AC. read more

RWT collective is what happens when someone takes the idea of a trading card shop and says what if we made it a lifestyle? Located right in the heart of little Osaka this place is less store and more TCG headquarters. The kind of spot where cardboard is currency in late nights are mandatory. They do all the games, One piece, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic. If it has cards and rules that require a YouTube tutorial, they're playing it. Weekend tournaments, of course. Late night events until 11 PM on weekdays? Naturally. Sleep is optional, but top cuts are not. The vibe feels like someone's basement if a basement were clean, well lit, and professionally organized and stock with absurdly good selection of sealed products, singles, collectibles, and merch you didn't know you needed it until five minutes ago. It's cozy without being grimy, intense without being unwelcoming, and somehow still manages to feel like home... Just with better inventory and few folding chairs. Well actually a lot of folding chairs. This is a full on community hub for West LA's TCG lifestyle. There are vendors, artists pop-ups, in-house merch, there's always something going on, and if there isn't, someone is probably play testing for something very important. Casual exist, but make no mistake. Organized play here is a serious business. Take notes, give feedback, and shockingly. If you raise a concern, it actually gets a trust. Revolutionary. It's nice to see someone taking organized play seriously. So if you're looking for a chill place to dabble still fit in. If you're looking to sweat over a deck list and meta calls, congratulations you found your people. It isn't just a shop. It's a cardboard powered social ecosystem. Come for the cards. I went to RWT to drop off a TAG submission in person. After dropping off my cards, there seemed to be some delay in the transition to TAG, and I'm unsure if it was on the store's side or on TAG's. However, when I brought up my concern to RWT, they offered me a full refund of the grading fees and made things right. It is seldom to find a business of any kind that will put a customer first that way, and I am sincerely impressed and appreciative of how they handled this situation, especially when it wasn't clear what caused the original issue. I'll be dropping more cards off in the near future, knowing that I can trust RWT to put their customers first. read more

Recently at a One Piece tournament that was held here, it was widely noticed that the shop didnt give out the winner cards that are intended to be prizes from Bandai themselves. Yet they handed out the promo packs distributed by Bandai. This has caused many and myself to speculate that they keep the cards for their own gain. Sketchy and extreme scalper behavior. read more

Terrible, I ordered a sv08 ETB case they did not honor the purchase instead on THEIR behalf canceled the order because they did not want to honor the price, they then took off the product from their website seemingly back dooring it. I got a refund just lame that they would do this for their customers and loyal ones too that have been supporting them since their old shop. They've become scalpers now. read more

so let me start by saying I love this place. it has the biggest selection of Pokemon cards and booster packs in the city . and they have a lot of space to play cards. BUT I will say that they are charging wayyyyyy more for Pokemon products than market and tcgplayer. it's so bad for inflation of costs. for example they have lost origin for $16! but the same pack is $9.45 with shipping on tcg player. I don't care what they say it is scalping. and it helped them afford their new location. which is really a nice place and their staff is amazing butttttt these inflated prices aren't pro collector . they're trying to max the amount they make. like explain why they have evolving skies for $60 for looose packs. I get charging a dollar over market. maybeeeee $2 but they're charging wayyyyyy more for every single pack they have, this includes their etbs and more . do not but from them until they make their prices more on par with the market. you got families that come in their to buy their kids packs and while they don't have to purchase you are making the hobby wayyyyy more unaffordable. I'm disappointed. all this so we can pay for your new shop. also their new parking situation is $15 at the new shop after the first hour so if you plan to stay and play you will pay a whole lot . theyre charging on everything wayyyyy more than the market sometimes at almost 75%. just heads up. prices horrible . customer service great. they charge this much knowing they are already making a profit because they got their stock for cheap then they mark it up and make wayyyyyy over 100%-200% profit. ***Response to Owners comment : Response to Owner: I appreciate you taking the time to respond and for the care you put into creating a safe, tamper-free environment for collectors. First off, I just wanted to mention that the owners of this game store are extremely accommodating and nice. I don't usually get this kind of vibe from many stores that I go to now a days. This shop is very very clean and the vibes are on point! I found this store through a store locater for a new card game that I was very interested in collecting and playing. The first time I visited, they had just newly opened and their selection wasn't vast. However, I still had a great time chatting it up with the owners while opening some packs. The next time I visited, their selections grew quite vastly. They had majority of everything that I wanted which was great! Since then, I visited this game store multiple times to purchase Pokemon, One Piece, Grand Archive and etc. I recently stopped by to purchase Disney Lorcana products. As someone who recently got into playing TCGs, I appreciate that they heavily support events for organized play. They host a lot of organized play events on a weekly basis and they told me that they are planning on expanding the type of games they will be hosting (Yugioh, Weiss Schwarz and etc). I'm from Orange County and this store is a bit of a drive for me, but I chose this store as my main go to store for a myriad of reasons. Some which I have stated above. It was my first time coming in today, and I promised I would write a review as soon as I got home and here it is. I was greeted very warmly by a sweet girl at the front wearing glasses that helped me out for my pokemon singles collection. Before my turn in line was an interesting gentleman that, in my opinion, socially rude. He mentioned something about the business that was "makes it seem cheap", then proceeded to boast about how he got the Boa Hancock voice actress to sign a card which he was planning on selling at a higher price. I personally think it is ridiculous that people have the audacity to do such a thing and make a profit while there are others out there who would be so honored to have the opportunity of meeting a celebrity. I've been coming here for almost a year now (wow) and I've become apart of a very tight knit group of guys through playing locals tournaments (specifically grand archive).
