We broke ground in January 2021, and by June, I was able to begin working from the office. The subcontractors Steve uses are talented craftsmen who know their trade well and are as proud of the work they do as I am of the completed project. Whether it was pumping cement 250 feet downhill into the woods in 25 degree winter weather to framing out the structure before an imminent snow storm, Steve's team was dependable and professional. I would happily recommend Steve and his team for any project and plan to hire them again for a major deck and outdoor hardscape project around my pool in the future.

The window sill is crooked. The sliding glass door never worked. The paint is screwed up. Etc. They won't even come look at it much less stand behind it. Find someone else. There are lots of good home builders out there. Schumacher isn't one of them. The water line into the house leaks. The dirt around the septic has sunk. Considering what I paid... It's the same gray house they advertise you would think that they would want it right but no it sucks!

Expensive so called custom homes that are thrown together as fast as possible and do not care about the quality as they try to hide everything before you can see it, carelessness and poor quality of work I urge you to look around at other home builders before making the mistake we did with our forever home that we are stuck with.
