I have been using Carrollton Plumbing for several years so I have a history with them. I kind of gave them a blank check to find and fix the leak. This is not a thing I would do with any other business. (They did give me an estimate.) I have been bit by so many business in the 25 years here in Carrollton. Since finding Carrollton Plumbing several years ago I have had to call them several times and I trust them. They fixed my leaks. Yes more than one and made separate repairs that turned up while they were here. Something needs to be understood I am not related to and do not have any financial interest in Carrollton Plumbing. I do not recommend giving a blank check to any business unless you personally Trust them. I trust Carrollton Plumbing. The Trucks state "Best Plumber in Texas" and I believe it.

I recently received a water bill that was 4x the prior month, with not add'l water usage. I called CPS and the very next day they sent Luke and Jared out to test for leaks. The guys could have jumped straight into a more expense test with the main box, but instead they were methodically, went water device by water device (ie, sinks, faucets, washing machine, each toilet to see if any of those were leaking - also finding the fittings to my toilets were original to the 1983 house (which I had them replace - for a reasonable price). The last test proved (we hope - haven't' received a bill yet) was a leaky toilet. Yet they went ahead and then tested the main controller, first the house then the irrigation system. Fortunately, no pressure change - so all was good (whew!). Best of all Luke explained all the way through what he was doing and spoke in a way I could understand what he was doing. Decided to try Mesquite Plumbing/Mr. Rooter. We stayed home and waited for them to arrive. Late in the day they rescheduled for the next day. When they eventually arrived, the plumber looked at it and said that he would sour up an estimate. Thirty minutes later he presented the estimate for $1500 and another for $5000 to replace a non-leaking line by the street because the copper was "Green". Coincidentally, we just had that line replaced by Riddell for only $400, just 3 months ago when the city replaced our meter. I told the Mr. Rooter representative this and he told me that they do "by the Job" pricing vs. by the hour and that is why it cost so much. I paid him the $65 "service call charge" and sent him on his way. I then dug up the area around the valve and found a very small leak at one of the copper pipe junctions. Less than a half hour to fix for any decent plumber. I would literally be ashamed to operate a business in this type of predatory manner. If I didn't know something about plumbing, I would have been totally ripped off. BUYER BEWARE!

We just had to use them for a leaky sink. I called in before the holiday weekend and scheduled a tech to come out. They told me over the phone to get a faucet and had amazing customer service. The real star of the show was Gary our tech. He was so friendly and thorough. He quoted us for our issue and fixing it ended up to be much harder than anticipated. He noticed two other minor things that he switch out for us and did not charge bc he did not quote us for it. He also cleaned two clogs in other sinks bc I told him they were slow draining. He did this all with a smile on his face even though it was almost 5pm and he still had another job to get to. I will absolutely be using them in the future and referring CR Plumbjng to everyone! They really are a great local business and I feel lucky to have a plumber that I can trust in our area.

My only complaint is that when I booked the appointment they told me the minimum trip charge was $95 and that would be applied to the service. But Nick informed me the minimum charge was $200. They should have told me on the front end the minimum charge was $200. Probably would have still hired them because of their reputation for quality work, but a 15-minute job charging for 2 hours seems a little over the top. That's why I knocked them from 5-star to 4-star.

I have found out that so many contractors love to put off their scheduling and try to charge way too much for their services compared to other businesses offering the same services and C & C arrived on time and gave us our quotes when they said and were just truly professional during the whole process and I just wish all businesses and contractors would have the same thrive and work ethic that the guys at C & C has.
