So I really only have a white tarp hanging on the side of my RV. He will not return my calls, it has been 2 months. I gave him time to make this right before I posted this review. I had to give him 1 star to post this I would have given him 0 if I could. I hope this keeps others from being taken by this Service. George B. middle Tennessee

Freddy helped us out of a bad situation and I cannot recommend him enough. We were a couple days…read morefrom house closing and an out of state move when our RV trailer brakes froze and the wheel fell off, stranding the trailer in the street in our neighborhood. No other trailer repairmen would work on axles except for Freddy. He made numerous calls to try to locate an axle. When that was not successful, he was able to have someone weld a spindle to the axle and eventually get the trailer up and running. He went above and beyond making calls and exploring options because he knew we were in a pinch. Although he lived in williamsport, he responded to Nashvillemultiple times and had to deal with shipping issues with FedEx in the meantime. He was super friendly, professional and courteous. And his rates were very reasonable. He could have charged anything he wanted given our situation, but he didn't take advantage of it. He even took apart the other drums and repacked the bearings to make sure everything was in tight order. This is a guy you can trust and a guy who will do whatever it takes to help you out.

Everything I was concerned with was fixed better than I thought was possible and my TT looks almost brand new (she's old, really old so this is amazing). If you need your TT serviced, call and get on the schedule. Honestly, working with him is better customer care AND response time-wise than most dealerships trying to sell a brand new one.

Update since last review 4 months ago. Almost immediately after posting my review, I received a…read morecall from Carl. He apologized for the poor communication and said that he would make me 2 sets of keys. He lost the set I left with him, so I gave him the key codes for the 3 keys that he lost and waited. While waiting for the keys, I went camping from April 10-13. During this time, I noticed that several electrical outlets were not working. Upon investigation, I found wires cut that were not reconnected, rendering 5 outlets out of commission. I called Carl and we set up a date for him to pick up the trailer to fix the problem. I asked him to put a junction box under the sink where the electrical repairs would be made as that would be a cleaner, more reliable repair. He kept the trailer for a week, as agreed upon, and delivered it to my storage space on May 4. He brought a single key to the trailer door with him, and said he forgot to grab the other keys (storage bin locks and hitch lock). Again, he apologized and said he would mail them to me. I texted a week later and asked if they were mailed and received no response. I texted again on May 26, and he responded and said they were mailed on May 22. It's June 4 and I still don't have the keys that I have been trying to get since last October. In addition, I just got back from camping again and, although the circuit now works, he did not install the junction box as I requested. He even said that he did when he dropped it off. Finally, and I say finally because I am done trying to resolve any other issues with this company, my air conditioning hasn't worked right since I got the trailer back. They didn't work on the A/C, but they did reseal the roof. It may just be coincidence, but based upon my experience with this company, I wonder if they did something to make it work less efficiently than before. I guarantee that there are better options in the area to get your work done, but if you choose to go with Spencer Janes, be prepared for poor communication, subpar work and lies.

So, for the past few months I've been looking at travel trailers that would be able to be anywhere from a weekend land yacht, to a daily life rig. This search brought me to Hole In the Wall... I mean Howenwald, Tennessee... and I must say, I am all the better for it. The folks at Oliver treat you with such a welcoming vibe from the moment you arrive. We got a chance to tour the static models out front, and Phil was great in showing us the factory tour to see how all the quality and craftsmanship that goes into making an Ollie from start to finish. You can tell they take a lot of pride in each Oliver made. One thing I have learned in the past 3 or 4 months in this journey to find an RV/Trailer, this is not a decision to make lightly and quality does matter and is apparent when you know the difference. We still have some months to go before we make a final decision but if you're considering, make sure you make a trip to TN and put the Oliver on your list of finalist!
