Its a monument with an Iron gate and stone wall around several graves. There is also some cannons located in park along with the marker signs. If you want to go on a nice walk with your kids or animals..to enjoy a great walk during the afternoon and learning some Great Historical facts...you must go here !!! One thing that I found especially poignant is that at a few moments I came across the graves of Confederate and Union soldiers laid to rest side by side. At the end, they were all Americans who had fallen during those terrible days. I think that it is important to remember the history of our great nation. This is an important destination and if you are in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by both here and the battlefield.
