The lady then tells me they don't take my insurance and asked if I had another. When I said no she asked if I wanted to pay out of pocket. In a global pandemic with insurance that I've never had a problem with why would I pay out of pocket?? This front office is filled with inept children. They're extremely out of touch and no amount of training will make them qualified to babysit a rock. Your main job at a doctors office is to inform patients about insurance restrictions at the time the appointment is made. I wasted time and money to get to this place. From what I recall now, the doctor is too busy selling his cosmetic procedures than helping with medical concerns.

I expected them to say just come back and they will take the last one off. Instead, I was told it would be ANOTHER $125 plus another co-pay. I think that is completely unreasonable. He said I should give him benadryl and come after hours when I could cover my son with my body to hold him down while he performed the removal. When I looked shocked he asked me if I possessed the ability to do this without becoming emotional. Alarm bells went off in my head as this seemed extreme to say the least. I called my pediatrician who agreed and recommended a plastic surgeon who performed the procedure gently and without the need for me to "hold my son down". I phoned Treiber's office to let them know I was not following through with them and the doctor sent a registered letter to my husband accusing me of neglecting my child's care.

After giving him a full synopsis of my medical history, including my ongoing Fibromyalgia symptoms, I let him know that I had recently run out of a mild maintenance pain reliever that I've been on for over a year. With zero tests or other questions, he chose not to give me a new script and recommended I take over the counter Aleve and start doing yoga. I informed him that I've been down that path with no relief from Aleve and all forms of exercising have been very difficult to do consistently. His final response to this was "You'll have to just try." and closed with saying "That's all we can do. I tried." What he tried, I have no idea!! Huge waste of time. Neither knowledgeable nor helpful and completely disregards his responsibility as a medical practitioner.
