She made us feel like valued guests, and she was also bartending! The drinks were a highlight. The Mojito Clarito was surprisingly clear but full of flavor, the Pepino cocktail was great, and the guava mocktail was easily my favorite. Unfortunately, the food was very inconsistent, especially for the price. The T-bone came out much rarer than the medium rare we ordered and wasn't cooked consistently. The truffle mashed potatoes were delicious, and the sea bass was the best entrée--great sauce and vegetables. The lobster tails were easily the worst dish, despite being one of the most expensive. They were oddly sweet and incredibly rubbery, like erasers. The tartare was also strangely sweet, with a sticky balsamic-like dressing and only four little chips. The oysters were disappointing as well--4 for $32 is steep, and I expected more than cheese simply warmed on top. Overall, there were some great elements, but the food lacked the consistency and execution I'd expect at this price point. Honestly, this is closer to 2.5 stars, and Elicia is the reason I'm rounding up to 3. She really made the experience.

My dad ordered what appears to be a parmesan chicken with pepperoni ("a la Pizza") with a fairly large side salad and my mom ordered corne beef with white rice and a side of fried plantains. She also started with a bowl of the soup of the day; came out pipping hot and was just what she needed to warm up from the blasting A/C. Service was kind and we left with our bellies full. I'd throw in some caution with the narrow parking and navigating this busy "one way" street. Be patience and confident, and you'll be just fine! Worth a stop in if you're craving a hearty lunch.

The ceviche was very citrusy with tomatoes and fish and crispy wonton style chips to accompany it. The tiny Tabasco bottle and a lime wedge was included in case u needed a little kick. The crab cake had the right amount of crab with thinly sliced onions on top. The aioli that accompanied it was also very good. I had the salmon, it had some sort of tomato purée underneath, which I thought was odd but tasty. The best part of my meal for me was dessert.
