I asked around, and found that Jim at Evergreen Treecare is the "tree doctor" and is the best in Jackson. He gives free advice, told one neighbor: "Hey, just water the trees 2 hours a day with a full hose. You don't need me to come do anything, just water, water, water". That is priceless in a town where folks want to grab every dollar. We have a problem in Rafter J with spider mites and Evergreen is doing a lot to help care for the trees before they die next year.

He charged me for all large trees. When I returned in the spring I was shocked to discover they were not all large. And 11 of the 16 were dead. Two trees were finally replaced. They also died. He also forgot to turn on the sprinklers for the lawn. So the lawn was dead. After the trees died, he put in a drip system without asking and no bid. In the process, he cut the existing irrigation line and my Internet. The drip system doesn't work because the tubing isn't big enough for my water pressure. In addition, I've been informed by the new landscaper that the trees he planted had been trimmed and topped to make them look healthier than they were. I've spent thousands and have nothing to show for it. The guy's a disaster.

My girlfriends & later my husband all commented about Our pooch trying to avoid what was being blown at him & the interior being coated. Then I realized that my kitchen would be cut off for that time and I asked it I could even still function as I live and work in my space. Our experience was nothing short of oversoaked rugs and pillows, to the point of expensive pillow shams being completely ruined from water stains. When the owner showed up to see the damage, he casually said that he would fully pay for replacement pillow covers. Because we are only seasonal residents, and the botched job took place just before we left for eight months, we weren't able to get replacements made until the following season. When presented with the bill, Brice claimed that too much time had elapsed and he wouldn't pay for the replacement. Why would that matter given he witnessed the ruined pillows four months earlier? This business cannot be trusted to perform work on fine fabrics and rugs, nor trusted to honor a commitment to pay for fabric ruined by employees.
