Rusty's was very.... sticky. The tables were sticky. The food was awful. I ate one bite and wouldn't order anything else. Staff was super nice and they refunded my order. But that was the only good thing. We will never go back. read more

Came here at 5pm Sunday (as a tourist), expecting it to not be busy, but yeah...we were way wrong. The place was absolutely packed. It's seat yourself, which is fine, but there was exactly one table (a 6 seater) open, but it needed to be bussed. We staked that out, hating to take up a 6 top with just 2 people, but we needed a spot to sit. Server was super busy, but attentive, nonetheless. She definitely didn't dawdle. Prices were good for what you get and the portion size. The fried shrimp basket was terrific, as was the fish and chips. Weirdly, we had an older, local couple ask to sit down with us, because they could see that we were finishing up, and they needed a table (after complaining about how the tourists take up all the tables and the locals couldn't even get a seat). Uh, sure? I think the server saw the situation and got us cashed out pretty quickly. Besides the crowd, we really dug this place and would return. read more

I went Monday for oyster night $.99 in oyster. How could you go wrong? Do oysters were delicious. My wife and I both had the Boston clam chowder and she had coconut shrimp really very very good food. The service was great. The only drawback is it's a free-for-all for seating. If you're not quick, you don't get a seat or if you don't stake out a seat, you don't get it people just running and grabbing no matter when they arrived. I would make that a sign in so everybody gets a seat and it's fair but definitely worth trying. read more

The windows all over could use a good washing. Put some effort into making the place like your Ft. Myers location. Nice and clean. Bring back the good fresh shrimp and change the cheap wine. Had the Gator bites, first time, good but not my cup of tea. Flavor was great , had a tough consistency. Not pictured 12 bone in buffalo wings , probably the best wings I've had in a long time. I came here on a Thursday at 5:30, it was happy hour until 6. I had Kona beers $4 on happy hour. The place was packed! I surprisingly found two seats at the bar. I ordered the fish and chips, they were on a Thursday special $10.95. The fish was crispy and the fries too. It came with a side of coleslaw, my husband loved it. The bartenders were nice and attentive. There was music playing. A mix from the whisper song, Karol's G, Selena, SVW, the thong song lol. The music took me back and I'm not mad at it. Rusty's is.a traditional Florida Raw Bar. Great live music, rocking and rolling. Texas Gulf Oysters on the half shell were fat and salty. Beer was COLD. Seating was packed, Lively atmosphere good for the Florida soul. Had Oysters Rockefeller and fried grouper too. Fish was lightly battened and oysters were baked to perfection. Our bartender warned me off the fried oysters. They should cook them from fresh shucked. I'd love 'em. read more

I keep coming back because of the fantastic customer experience! All the employees are fun and real! The food hits all the expectations of good bar food! Fish sandwich, fish and chips, hamburgers are all well executed! Good rotating specials too. I have not had a bad meal. What keeps me from going more often are the rude patrons. I just don't want to battle for a seat. Only here have I had a couple enter a different door and split up to take the last four available chairs at the bar. Or been told a chair is taken only to eat my whole meal elsewhere never to see a person sit in the "taken seat". I will keep going here but not as often as other places..... read more

Waitress, Corinne, was so friendly and attentive but not over bearing. 10/10 Coconut shrimp...Was a little over done but chili sauce has a nice kick to it. We gave it a 7/10. I had the group sandwich lightly fried. So crisp, not greasy, and it had good flavor. 9/10 Hubs had the clam chowder. Very generic. 7/10 He got the fried shrimp basket 7/10 seemed like regular bar food. Probably not the "off the boat" fresh. Salad dressing was homemade and was really good 9/10. Tonight I ordered the grouper platter. The size of the grouper was very small relative to servings in the past. I had ordered rice and beans instead of the plain rice that came with the meal. Apparently, they remembered at the last moment and threw a spoonful of rice and beans on top of the white rice. Other than that, the quality of the fish was very good and the broccoli was perfectly done. A little disappointed in the dish tonight. read more

I was at Rusty's bar on 1/4/2024 & a female bartender with long blond hair last night supported & endorsed a VERY LARGE man coming on to the dance floor I was alone on SLIDING HIS HANDS on BOTH SIDES of my BODY Completely full force grabbing my hips & butt UNDER my 2 jackets & bathing suit to touch my naked skin ! He stated that " YOU ARE COMING HOME WITH ME , I am TAKING YOU TO MY HOME ! " I said you need to GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY BODY & step back. Leave me the F **k ALONE This giant guy went to the bartender & his friends at the bar & said "I asked her to dance & she got mad " I came up to the bar & told them "NO YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON MY BODY and said you were taking me home with you . The female bartender started immediately attacking me verbally at that point saying this is not a hang out place why had I not bought a drink ? When I said again This man has slid his hands under my clothes on my body hips & butt ? She just shrugged her shoulders dismissively & said "HE IS JUST A FRIENDLY GUY" !!! She again starts yelling at me why hadn't I bought a drink This was not a place to hang out . I said I've come here multiple times for mostly drinks & 2 times food. THIS female Bartender went into FULL ON ATTACK MODE YELLING at me for not buying a drink & COMPLETELY defending the mans SEXUAL ASSAULT on me as he did nothing wrong . The other bartenders did nothing to stop this attack . I had stopped in to get a drink & set up my new iPhone I just picked up last night. No one came by my table & I was working on my phone so was not in a rush for drink. A guy came up with 2 shots & asked if I wanted one so I said sure. He called his friend over to have a shot & started asking me Q&A the standard & ordering MORE shots. The friend told me he was friends with the bartender & had been getting multiple shots for them all night I would check the bar receipts to see If there are multiple shots paid for because there was a lot going out. The guy getting the shots came back to the table and said that the bartender he was getting the shots from liked me & wanted me to go home with him? As a female who goes places by herself I am warning ALL Women if you come HERE you are going to get harassed AND sexually abused by men who are there & bar staff both male & female will join in & the the same ! I contacted the Immokalee Rusty's 2 times as they said HR would be contacting me . hey NEVER contacted me , seems like the entire bus is bad news from what I have experienced to date . The female bartender should be fired I will get her name to add to the police report I have filed . I also want the names of other male bartenders who were supporting her & the man's sexual touching & actions on me. This man was HUGE maybe 6''5 & BIG not a slim build so to have him grabbing & holding my body stating he was taking me home with him supported by the bartender was a VERY unsafe & bad situation for any women to be in & walking to car alone was not safe. Rusty's owners Tammy & James Thompson REALLY NEED to investigate this and talk to the female bartender. She needs to be investigated & fired. This is clearly abuse and whatever is happening with all the shots coming out nonstop from the bar that seemed to be for free I would look into that also if it were my bar.This place has a lot of shit going on that is bad news for any female Filed a police report on this & hope to be able to press charges as warranted for the actions against me from this place.I have read several other reviews about the staff treating customers badly in a variety of of ways. I have managed a bar in the French quarter & it is EASY to see that some of the staff here are running their own show here for their own advantage. When it reaches this level of endorsement of sexual aggression against women as this psycho blond bartender is doing it must be stopped. Rock star staff and delicious oysters on the half shell. Clam chowder to die for with small bits of bacon and scallions. BLT sliders were also very yummy. Crazy fun bar when the college kids are around! I love the Turkey Reuben, and usually get it to go for next day lunches. And Cordero makes a phenomenal Oyster Shooter, in the spirit of Half Shell Raw Bar in Key West. Vodka, something spicy and a Fresh shucked/shucked to order Oyster! Yummy! We come here often. Awesome service typically from Abby, bird, Sam, liz - but I would advise anyone to stray from this establishment when Kailey is working. This isn't only fans -- after work we stop to get a drink or two (which is impossible when she is here) she's to focused on herself to pour a drink for anyone. First of all, the service was good. Nothing above and beyond, but they got the job done in a timely manner. The waitress was great with drink refills. (There isn't anyone to seat you, so you find a table that works.) None of the staff wore masks. There was no social distancing in this restaurant. It's as if COVID doesn't exist in there. The music was good, a bit loud - but that's to be expected. Food was good. Again- nothing eye opening. One person in our party ordered the Ahi Tuna special, which looked good - but it's $13.95 with no side. Another ordered the oysters - $24/ dozen. The crab cake sandwich was decent. The fried were very good. Southwest egg rolls were a good appetizer. The ribs were on special for $13.99 and the plate was quite big and a great deal! The pork tenderloin sandwich was HUGE! This place was surely off the chain, but in a good way. There was a White Claw, vending claw machine. Lol. Pool tables, dance floor, and great ambience. Everyone was so kind and polite, from the staff, to the customers, to the live band, while still trying to abide by the covid restrictions. There were a handful of free spirited dancers that were dancing with no shoes on. It was a great time for my fam to just relax and drink before taking our zzzz's in the hotel room. read more
