Greek salad

Rusty Rudder is big enough to get a table and they're pretty good at serving a bigger group. This unfortunately was my 2nd bad experience so I'll have to find somewhere better next summer. Our drinks took forever, our waitress barley checked in, and the food was pretty bad especially for the insane beach prices. A salad I got a year prior was a third of the size this time around (for the same price) and I paid way too much money to have the tiniest piece of fish in my taco (see pic). It was honestly laughable. The crab bisque was also a let down, truly tasted like it came from a can! Will not be returning!

Crab Imperial

My wife and I ate at the Rusty Rudder last evening. Unfortunately, both of us found long brown hair in our meals. We lost our appetite and left. I had the crab imperial and my wife had the crab cakes. $95 meal. We would not go back to that restaurant.

A serious dive bar on the bay

A flop, this place looked good from the road so we decided to stop on our tour of local beaches. As we entered the bar I noticed the place looked a bit raunchy, while I enjoy a raunchy bar when I'm out with the boys, when I'm on vacation I prefer a more relaxed bar. One where I don't have to worry about some drunk starting a problem with someone in my group. We didn't dare try the food based on the menu lacking what I wanted, a raw bar! I had a beer and ran out!

Rusty is situated by a wonderful sea view -every angle you see open ocean just beautiful. Now atmosphere that exactly what I expected-didn't seem clean -bar tables were not cleaned-as soon as you walk in you see drunkenness ( I know it's a bar lol). You think this a restaurant by the ocean you expect a menu to carry a raw selection-raw oysters-clams, nope. So we had a drink and left very disappointed for sure. So what you see is not always what you get.

Food vibes are nice but don't get the Bloody Mary it's not good. Be careful of hair in ur drink - (be weary of Diet Coke) there was a chunk of hair in it. Overall good and nice waiter

This is right next to the beach and water! Scenic and busy. There's live music, which I didn't like because she was singing country and I hate country lol. I blocked it out. It's very busy so I'm usually sat outside. Getting eaten alive by bugs. I got the Mega Cheese & Tots in a giant margarita glass as my meal. It was fried deliciousness, I couldn't finish it though. Then I got the Blue Hawaiin Slush at the servers recommendation, mmm it was SO good!

I can only comment on the night life as I did not come here for food. We came on a Saturday night for drinks and live music and the Rusty Rudder did not disappoint. Beers/seltzers were about $9 a piece. The staff were great. There are multiple bars at this location, live music on the back patio and DJ inside, overall, would come again for the night life and recommend if you're looking for a great time and great music. Also Stealing Savannah was awesome, catch them at other venues in the area (DC, VA, Maryland as well)

Can't speak for the food as we just came for drinks on a Saturday night, but we really enjoyed the vibe here! Great band on the back patio. Loved that they had a DJ inside as well to mix up the vibes. Entrance fee came with a free drink. Bartenders were quick and courteous. Definitely a fun weekend spot!

If you do not get this, you will be missing out! I was torn on where to go for my birthday dinner and I was so happy with my decision to try Starboard Raw. We got there around 7:40 pm on a Sunday and there was about a 20 minute wait, which wasn't really a problem since we ended up just going across the street to the OG Starboard for a crush. I got a text that my table was ready and we had a table outside since the weather was perfect. Our waitress was really nice, very enthusiastic. The food came out quickly, we got half a dozen oysters, shrimp cocktail, the crispy rice tuna poke, and the tenderloin steak toast. I highly recommend trying this place out!

It's your day. They have roughly 6 tables with a bench and stools on one side and then roughly 12-16 seat bar. Very lovely decorated and great bar vibes. Little bit more of an elevated bar vibe for sure due to their delicious martini menu. Ordered lemon drop martinis, spicy Paloma, Carijillo. All were great. So good that a second round was ordered. They are well known for their espresso martinis (fresh espresso brewed for each one). They also have a full bar. Food - yep! Full package here. Munched on apps. Ordered the steak toast (get this), calamari, and crab deviled eggs. All were delicious. They even have some free goldfish to share while waiting or if only drinking. Prices aren't bad. Service is terrific. Shout out to Anthony! Holding down the entire place and also being very attentive. Greta place to swing in for some great craft cocktail options and delicious food.

It's in the heart of town, but on quiet Wilmington Ave. (parallel to and a block away from Rehoboth Ave.). There are no reservations, but it's worth every minute of the wait (and waiting in the bustling bar area is great as the accommodating staff will get you drink no matter where you're sitting or standing). The oyster selection is always changing with a few new entries likely each day and they're always interesting and delicious. The regular menu has so much to offer that it's impossible to pick favorites, but the crab cakes and lobster roll are amazing; the fried oysters are great and the ever-changing fish options are always tasty. An heirloom tomato salad was fantastic. The environment is lively and fun. The staff is always friendly and top notch. Servers were all extremely friendly, checked on us often and made plenty of conversation. We started with the Cheesesteak Eggrolls, huge. Common theme with all the portions! Definitely a lot to eat as a starter, needed a little salt. Entrees were the Scott Van Melt & Famous Turgeon Tenders (on the Light Fares/Starters). Both were so good, I dare to say the tenders were some of the best I've ever had. Love spicy food and this scratched that itch! Super super tender. Only negative, not really a negative more of a small disappointment were the crushes. Everyone had said this was the place to go, they market themselves as the best. Big Fish does take limited reservations, but if you're going without -- at peak hours -- during peak season -- be prepared to wait! I love coming here for a big lunch on a weekday when the scene is much quieter. The quality of the food is excellent. However, the portions can be mercurial. I know that not every swordfish steak or scallop is the same size, but sometimes I'm stuffed and other times I'm left a little hungry. But I'm never disappointed by the peanut butter pie! Make sure to save room and plan to share with your fellow diners because this slice of pie packs a punch! Ambiance is casual with paper on the tables where the servers write their names and large marine life models hanging from the ceilings and walls. Service could be a bit more attentive on the multiple times I've been there -- I've frequently been left needing a refill on my water or cola -- especially after a dehydrating day at the beach.

I must admit I was a little disappointed in the portion. The bowl of dip was not full and while the chips did cover the amount of dip, it wasn't very much. For dinner, I got the Fish & Chips, Fries and Cole Slaw. It wasn't bad. Not the best I've ever had, but not bad. I'd probably try something else next time. My wife got the Crab Imperial, which was very good. She also got a Bloody Mary to go with her meal. My son got the Big Shrimp with Saffron rice and broccoli, which was very good. Our friend got the Big Chicken with what looked like pureed Yams. He thought it was decent. The highlight was the dessert, which was the Double Chocolate Cake and a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. We really enjoyed it. Our wait staff did a decent job as well. We will definitely be back.
