The menu boasts a wide range of delicious options, however I do recommend some changes. I ordered a Vanilla Espresso Protein Shake, and it came out watery and to be honest, didn't taste very desirable. However I understand the current predicament and it seemed to be very busy, it really wasn't too much of an issue. I was contemplating this and the Iced Coffee, but didn't know it the coffee was blended or not. In future it would be nice if that would be specified. Now regarding the food, it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Açai bowl, it was so good and the presentation was so beautifully done. It tasted as good as it looked as well, I wish there was more! It was a nice meal for breakfast and filled me up without making me feel sick. The only thing I would like to note is that the meals come out at the same time. My order came out 20 minutes before my friends, it was hard to resist the look of my Açai bowl. Other than that, it was a delightful breakfast and start to the day. I recommend to everyone and I'm sure Emu Hall is a restaurant fit for all occasions. A true gem!

The menu was primarily seafood, also not a surprise. I decided to order a salad, not really in the mood for seafood. There was roast cauliflower, steak, chicken Parmesan, and various pizzas in addition to fishy dishes. The place was also packed, so I was glad we got an outside table. I thought my salad was delicious. It had fennel and Parmesan cheese shavings over the greens. I don't know what the greens were, but everything went well together and it was a generous portion. I had second thoughts about salad when I saw the amazingly presented entrees my dining companions had selected. After starting out with a beautiful Bloody Mary, my daughter-in-law had a crumbed dory burger with chips(fries in the States). It had two fish patties coated in herbed crumbs and she said she almost always ordered it, it was so good. It looked delicious but I stuck with my salad. My son had beer-battered flathead fish and chips. It was perfect with crunchy, lightly browned coating covering flakey white fish. I snagged a few of his fries which were also perfect. Prices in restaurants are always higher than in the U.S., but how likely are we to find fish like dory or flathead on the menu? Additionally, waitstaff in Australia are paid a living wage and don't rely on tips.

Next alleged 'bratwurst' which was nothing but 3 cheap awful sausages. Came with packet, cold mashed potatoes which contained hard, dry? Green peas. Also over priced at $29. Third was a frozen schnitzel with cold fries. Along with one drink each and a bowl of ok onion rings $140 was a rip off of the highest order. A look into the kitchen revealed some pretty grungy guys who I would guess do not wash their hands. We came out feeling sick. Never go here and if you are anyone to do with shutting down kitchens this is one to close.

I was however, pleasantly surprised. We timed our visit to coincide with the starting of the first session of movies at the skyline drive-ins so was it wasn't too busy. The food was served in under 15 minutes as well as been freshly prepared and adorable. There is a substantial menu given it is a sensually just a pub meal, as well as being fairly priced as with the drinks also. There is an outdoor seating area as well as the option to cook your own meat yourself. Whilst it was a pub it was, there really was very little noise. Quality of the food was excellent and we will definitely be returning again

The location is also hard to beat, making it the perfect place to relax before or after walking around the historic area. Great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Inside wasn't bad, the table was big and the chairs comfortable. We were waited on immediately. Servers fly around like dancers, it's actually pretty impressive. Our food arrived in no time. My wife had fish and chips and I had lamb and rosemary pie. She enjoyed her meal. Mine was different than I've had before. It was still ok but I wouldn't order it again. Others would probably like it, it just wasn't for me. We didn't have any dessert but as you walk in the door they have some wonderful looking pies and cakes. Do yourself a favor and save room for one of those. I messed up and didn't try something. This is actually a really cool restaurant that I would like to try again. I wouldn't let one dish that didn't hit my taste buds keep me away.

You can choose to sit inside or in the outdoor courtyard which we opted to as the word heaters were mentioned. The courtyard is beautif Since they are still relatively new they menu is currently limited to two pages but they keep adding specials every week. The first page consists of tasting plates - Antipasti plates and the second consists of mains. We were advised that they encourage people to share all the dishes. We decided to get 4 items from the tasting menu so 2 cheese and 2 cold meats which came to $30 and bread was included for free! We got a basket of assorted crisp bread, crackers and multigrain to have with out tasting plates. I would have to say it may not look like much but the tasting plates can get filling so if you are getting mains as well best try not to eat all the bread! Staff were very attentive and helpful when it came to the selections on the menu. Overall, good first time visit. Looking forward to going back to try some of the mains. They also serve breakfast from 7am to 11am - I also would like to try this.

What first really hits you about this place is the appearance. They've really gone to a lot of trouble and expense to give it a european feel and it works. There is a bakery and cafe window on one side opening out onto a small paved area with seats if you just wanted a coffee and a small bit to eat. If you head inside its divided up into three main parts; inside, upstairs, and the covered courtyard on the side. Just look at the photos - the place looks amazing. I'd read other negative reviews about their coffee - I usually go a latte with an extra shot and the coffee I got was as good as anything I'd had anywhere else. Foodwise I had the truffle oil scrambled eggs with parmesan on sourdough. I have to admit when it came out I though the serving was a bit small. But as I worked my was through it I realised it was just right. The staff were amazing too. It was almost like the service you get in the US - always topping up your water, checking on you, etc. Nothing was too much trouble. About the only downside I saw were the prices on their wine list - if drinking there doesn't earn you the Yelp high roller badge I don't know what will! They're great for a lazy breakfast and I'll definitely be back to try out their lunch and dinner offerings!
