Needless to say, the place was booked solid, and I was very happy to have made my reservation 11 months prior to avoid the "dynamic pricing" others were experiencing throughout the region. It is very conveniently located right off of the I-87 exit and is surrounded by numerous shopping and dining options. Our room was ready when we arrived at 3:30 and check in was fast and easy. The rooms themselves are slightly smaller and laid out differently than a standard Holiday Inn Express, and I suspect this property was converted from another brand. All that said, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was a nice area to kill some time in, and the exercise room was appointed well enough to meet all but the most serious gym-rat's needs. The staff here was outstanding. Despite being absolutely stuffed to the gills with guests, they went out of their way to make sure everything was stocked, clean and ready to go. When I was in the lobby waiting for my food delivery the first night, I watched the poor woman behind the desk greet 3 customers who drove in off the street looking for a room and answer phone calls from several more. She answered all of their questions patiently and with a smile. Not once did, "of course there are no rooms left in this small college town that is in the path of totality the night before the eclipse, you cueball brained nimrod!" come out of her mouth, and that's significantly better than I would have fared if placed in the same situation all day long. I'm not sure if and when I'll be back in the Plattsburgh area, but if I am, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The owner mentioned they had limited flowers left, but THIS bouquet was filled with roses, baby's breath, and the most gorgeous group of purple flowers! She went beyond my expectations and purple is my favorite color. They made this piece of floral art within five-ten minutes day of for about $65. Their prices are higher than price chopper and target, but you're paying for a local and unique bundles of bouquets. Only the best for Mom! Right?! Other than flowers, they sell locally made vases, bracelets, earrings. Their shop is lovely filled with cacti, bouquets, and gardening tools too. Definitely worth supporting for future events like weddings, showers and events. You will be amazed!

Immediately walking to store, I was greeted with duck tape and room 138 handwritten on door. Bed linens looked clean however wash cloths were stained and clearly not white. Ceiling in shower warped like it was going to cave in. We found spider webs with actual spider and its prey in corner ceiling. Empty soda cans under bed. Clearly room is not cleaned to hotel standards. I wouldn't allow my children to have bare feet on carpet, or sit on toilet seat. What took us over the edge was the cockroach that literally popped on my bed while I was laying there. I immediately packed up my family and we left. If you're looking for a cheap rundown motel to stay at this is your place. Otherwise run and find another place to stay. I would give this hotel 0 stars.

We used their clear tent and outside dance floor set up, and it turned out beautifully--even better than what we had imagined. Their service was also amazing! The actual wedding day was very windy and two of our tent chandeliers' power cords came loose, so Kyle and the Fosters' team drove up to the venue and fixed everything seamlessly and without second thought -- it was truly exceptional service!
