Joe won my husband and I over one weekend when my husband wanted a cup of ice for his drinking that evening at our hotel. Joe would go next door to Dairy Queen and by my kids ice cream comes for their birthdays. His wife always took great care of us keeping our drinks full and the kids smiling. We now go to the marlton location often and love the food and atmosphere. Such a great family place!

Food was amazing from the appetizers (calamari, mussels) to the main dishes and everything was delicious. We were able to order off the menu which has so many choices. And I don't want to forget the specials which were indeed, *special*! The service from Dina and her team of ass't servers and bus people was amazing! How she handled 22 people so calmly, warmly, and efficiently is beyond me. Very comfortable and clean restaurant, including the bathrooms. We can't wait to return to this wonderful restaurant. It's totally worth the drive!

The doors in the dining area were open so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. The entire dining room is lined with what must be 6 sets of double doors, perfect for nice weather. Our server greeted us with two soft, delicious garlic herb rolls. This location is byob which is great, however we had things to do after so we stuck with water. We ordered a Caesar salad to split which was decent, but does not compare to their chopped salad (a must order!). We also went with a square Grandma pie well done with anchovies. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Crisp bottom, crisp edges, and big flavor with tomato sauce & pesto. Service was adequate especially for the amount of people eating in and ordering to-go. This wasn't our first time here and definitely won't be our last. Sometimes it's nice to swing in and take a few slices

My best friend and I have been wanting to try Femmina since he moved to Medford a year again…read more Finally the situation presented itself and we decided to head there on a Friday night. The parking lot was PACKED and it took a bit to find a spot. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait, which was significantly less than I thought considering they do not take reservations for parties less than 6. We were actually sat in 15 minutes and our server brought us waters and Arnold palmers while we perused the menu and specials. After placing our order, a food runner brought us buttery warm garlic rolls and a different style of crusty bread as well. We decided to start with the arancini ( Italian rice balls) which came with four huge rice balls stuffed with a ground beef bolognese style and served with marinara. Our house salads came with a thousand island style dressing and consisted of chopped romaine, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers. Very basic but the dressing seemed like it could be made in house. For our entrees, I did the limoncello chicken and my best friend did the paparadelle with lobster. Mine had the most decadent lemon cream sauce bathing several chicken cutlets covered in crab meat with melted cheese and a huge mound of capellini. His was covered in chunks of lobster claw meat, mushrooms, prosciutto, and peas with a sherry blush sauce. Both entrees were huge and we took more than half home but everything was delicious. For dessert we opted to share the tiramisu since it's made in house. It had a thin layer of chocolate on top, which made for the most delicious mocha flavor. Our server was wonderful, the place was packed with people celebrating birthdays and everyone sang every time another candlelit dessert was paraded through the dining room. The ambience is cozy and comfortable and I can't wait to go back!

If you love old-school Italian, this place is an absolute gem. I had the homemade ravioli with meatballs, and everything was fantastic. The ravioli were delicious, the meatballs were exactly what you hope an old-school Italian meatball will be, and the mushroom soup was wonderful. Even the salad had that great old-fashioned touch--a beet on top! My guest had the homemade spaghetti with sausage and absolutely raved about it. And definitely save room for dessert! We shared the blueberry buckle, served warm and loaded with blueberries. It was delicious and easily enough for two people to share. The whole experience felt like stepping back in time--in the BEST possible way. Our dining room had beautiful wood paneling, and I honestly felt like I was back in the 1970s sitting in my grandmother's dining room. It was warm, nostalgic, comfortable, and completely charming. Then there was the piano player! What an unexpected treat. He played everything from show tunes and television themes to Impressions de France, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and Frank Sinatra. He was absolutely fantastic and added so much to the evening. But the best part of our experience was our server, Kathy. She was cheerful, upbeat, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Great service can turn a good dinner into a memorable one, and Kathy absolutely did that for us. The Red Lion Inn is DEFINITELY on my return list. Great homemade food, wonderful old-school atmosphere, live piano music, and terrific service. I can't believe it took me this long to finally get there--but I certainly won't wait that long to go back!
