This is pretty much a 4.5 star rating here people!
I love a place where you can see the inner workings of the magic that happens. The moment I stepped into the store - which was an accident since we were looking for a bakery that had shut down - the ladies serving us were just a super delight to talk with. This seemed like the place passion for food and good coffee is made. Each lady had her own charm, and connected with the variety of people coming through the doors so wonderfully. Its nice to listen to the regular customers connect with the staff, and you can hear that though there are not a lot of places to sit inside, that people would wait around if they wanted to dine in.
The ladies were bringing many new baked treats out to the front counter to cool off and tempt our eyes throughout our stay. Nearby business workers popped in to get coffee. You know theres a good thing around when it has connection within the community it sits amongst.
I loved the rustic wooden tables with the bright white walls. I had a chicken panini-type lunch, and it was scrumptious! Truly, yum! If i had space in my happy tummy I would've gone some citrus tart or baked loaf. And on these beautiful days we are having, why not do a drive by, pick up something fabulous to eat and drink and walk up to the beautiful park just a block further up the road and enjoy it there. That would be a great Saturday or Sunday treat! read more
