Rustic Events provided all of the large rental items for our backyard San Diego wedding in June (2017). We rented the dark finished farm tables, chairs, wine barrels (my favorite!), cocktail tables, and a few other things like the yard games, easels, etc. We were really happy with the way everything looked and would definitely use them again in the future. Everything felt sturdy and reliable. The tables and chairs have clearly made their way around town as seen via some small scuffs and scratches up close, but it's nothing that is visible in photos and what is to be expected with how much they are moved and used. I did a lot of research on price and reviews before choosing RE - they are definitely a great wedding vendor and stood out in options, cost, and customer service. I booked almost a year out as I was planning this wedding long distance. Jenn worked with me from start to finish; her communication was stellar through the entire experience and she is sweet as pie, very helpful, and passionate about her work! RE has managed to be organized like a large company but maintain the personal touch of a small business. The crew that came to set up for our event was timely, professional, and efficient. We were staying on location for a few days before and after the wedding so Jenn and I were able to work out delivery and pickup that worked for us both and caused the least amount of stress. In planning everything myself, I came to value very quickly what a great vendor Rustic Events is and appreciate all of their help and contribution to bringing my vision to life! Jenn is probably the NICEST person you will ever meet. She was the very first vendor I booked for our wedding and I think she may have spoiled me with how easy she was to work with!! She responds right away with tons of information and details which I loved. So many vendors make you work jut to get their pricing it's ridiculous! Jenn helped us book our initial order and then was always there to answer questions and make additions to the order in the months that followed. When I finally met her upon delivery the week of the wedding, it was like we were old friends she gave me the biggest hug it was so sweet. The delivery time ended up coinciding with an event I had to be at last minute so Jenn being so wonderful told me to go and she would take care of the setup and if I wanted to move things around I was welcome to upon my return. Well, that was totally unnecessary as she set up the tables with essentially no instruction from me and it was perfect they obviously know what they are doing! The tables were beautiful. Just the right amount of rustic for our outdoor reception under twinkling lights- it was just so romantic! They don't require tablecloths which was the look I was going for and the real beauty is they look great with minimal decor but also can be done up extravagantly- they are incredibly versatile without looking out of place in either scenario. The wine barrel bar is also AWESOME. Our guests were loving it and I wish I had more excuses in my every day life to use one! We will definitely be looking to Rustic Events again if we have the need for rentals. We didn't initially budget for table/chair rentals for our outdoor winery wedding but as I looked at more and more pictures of Rustic Urban Events, I couldn't imagine not having their beautiful farm tables to complete the rustic look of the wedding we envisioned. So first of all, their product is amazing if you have a similar vision but secondly and more importantly, I cannot say enough about Jenn. Her customer service is BEYOND exceptional and that was before we were forced into a weather induced Plan B situation. It only got better after that. She and her husband worked with us the day leading up to our wedding to figure out a plan of action at the venue for all possible solutions for a rained out reception. Thankfully, the weather cooperated well enough and we had the most beautiful setting for our reception. Expensive but nice looking pieces to rent for your wedding. Giving two stars because I rented a beach house for our wedding that I had never been to when I had already confirmed my rentals from this company. I had no idea that the guys would have to bring the pieces down stairs beside the house to get to the backyard. They emailed me after the wedding and told me that would be an additional almost $500 (charging per stair) on top of already paying $1000 for 4 tables and 40 chairs. Ended up paying $250 extra for stairs in the end, but think it's bad business and unjust charges on top of already high rental prices! read more

They put in so much effort and thought into how to get the tables in on time and to execute the "flip." Working with Jennifer months before our event was great, but her and her husband's customer service broke down significantly as we got closer to the event. She was very accommodating to our requests and we added a few additional decor pieces (donut bar, drink station) in the month prior without hassle. However, things really fell apart THREE DAYS before our wedding. Our venue was at a friend's home within a gated private property, which we had discussed with Jennifer ahead of time and which we were very clear about. Without scheduling an appointment, they showed up at the venue, trespassed on private property (her husband actually jumped the fence) and started taking pictures. Our friends live there, and they were shocked that someone would do this, which was also embarrassing for us. We had the contract with them 7 months in advance, and they did not think once to schedule an appointment ahead of time to view the property. They then told us they wouldn't be able to deliver (semi-trucks go up and down this property all the time). Because there were additional stairs, we had an additional charge per our contract, which would have been fine had it been a reasonable time frame before the event and a reasonable amount. They were about to charge us an extra $600 to move benches 30 yards and down 10 steps. Her husband cited that the benches weighted 65 pounds each (they weighted 30 pounds at most), and it was too many stairs to walk down. The fact that this happened literally days before the wedding while we had 7 months to take care of this was completely unprofessional. This caused an incredible amount of stress and frustration days before our wedding. We opted to have them put the benches at the top of the stairs, and I (the groom), along with my groomsman, and my dad, moved the benches down the stairs ON MY WEDDING DAY. The actual tables and benches were beautiful, but the unprofessionalism of Jennifer and her husband made us regret using their services. read more

After a somewhat harrowing experience attempting to build tables for our own backyard wedding, we called in the professionals. Rustic events answered my request for a quote within the hour and followed up to answer all of my questions. We hosted an extremely intimate wedding in our backyard, so the tables were a very important part of the reception and look and feel of the space. We were SO pleased with how beautiful the tables looked in our courtyard. We contrasted the dark wood with orange chairs and orange fiestaware. One of my favorite moments in my wedding was coming out to the courtyard to see our families sitting around the two gorgeous farm tables from Rustic Events. We used this company for a family thanksgiving last year. We rented three farmhouse tables and benches in the mahogany. It was the most beautiful set up. The tables are perfectly rustic and very large and functional. The entire process was a breeze. Jenn and her husband were flexible with delivery, very reasonable on price and easy to work with.
