There was a line but it moved fast. The two ladies were friendly and the order did not take long at all. I ordered the Spanish latte which was okay. Very good service they have a great selection of coffees,teas, and smoothies. It has a very chill vibe especially being so close to the beach. They have plenty of seating so you can sit and enjoy your drink and food. I got a white mocha which was perfectly balanced along with it I got a maple scone and wow, delicious. There are actually not that many places to enjoy a coffee, while watching the waves and this place has it all! Great coffee, great service, great crown, all while getting peek-a-boo views of the Pacific. This will for sure be my go-to coffee stop, when I come to Santa Monica. Outdoor seats are limited. They are popular amongst locals because they provide good service, drinks and breakfast. Staff were competent and affable. Plenty of street parking. This is a quiet cafe tucked away inside of tiny shopping center. I'm pretty sure it used to be a parking lot. I think the best part was the quiet atmosphere. The oat milk latte I order was very good (but it didn't blow me away). The lady who took my order was pleasant. No complaints. I've been driving past Rusti Coffee for months and finally decided to stop in and I'm glad I did! I ordered a matcha latte and an avocado toast for my colleague. While the matcha latte was just okay, nothing particularly memorable, the avocado toast was a total hit. My colleague said it was hands down the best avocado toast she's ever had and she liked it so much, she went back a couple of days later just to get it again. At Will Rogers Beach watching club beach volleyball, and needed some coffee. Stumbled upon this gem! Coffee and pastries are amazing! If you come early and happen to score their scones, you won't be disappointed. Scones are very flavorful, moist, and simply delicious you need to have more than one. We had the Orange and maple scones! We also tried their Spanish, white mocha lattes. They have alternate milks as well. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and our orders came out quick. They work out of an old Airstream RV, very cool! They have table seating on the side with umbrella shades. Pet friendly too! Come grab a bite and some coffee next time you're in the area! Rustic Coffee is a hidden airstream-like gem on W Channel Road in the Pacific Palisades part of Santa Monica. If you want to try coffee by the beach, this is a great spot to hit on your way. They have some seats and tables available in the courtyard, alongside a few other vendors. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, and has a genuine warmth to them that makes you want to return. We went with the iced oat latte and hot mocha. For non-dairy options they have both oat and almond milk. My only wish would be that they'd also work with a local specialty coffee roaster that fits their local Los Angeles vibe. Almost missed this amazing out-of-the-way place...and would have missed a wonderful, delicious and peaceful experience! There was almost no wait. My boyfriend and I loved this place. Definitely returning. We ordered an Americano with two pumps of vanilla and a half sweet Spanish latte. Both drinks were so delicious. They use great coffee. For breakfast we shared the chicken salad toast and the ham and egg croissant. The chicken salad toast was very tasty. I would order it again! I don't usually write reviews, but after two rude encounters with staff here, I felt compelled. I just moved to Topanga and was excited to find a cute local coffee stop on my way to work. Unfortunately, the young staff working here are consistently rude. On my first visit, one heavy-set young girl was extremely unpleasant. She aggressively told me I couldn't park where I had, then immediately followed it up with, "We're not open anyway, the power's out." I can't stress enough how unnecessarily rude and unprofessional her tone was. On yet another visit, when my order was made incorrectly and I politely mentioned that my drink was supposed to be iced, a different staff member became visibly annoyed and scolded me--as if it were my fault her coworker wrote it wrong on the cup. The young staff here need to learn how to speak to customers with professionalism and kindness. Starting my mornings with rude interactions over a simple cup of coffee is not how I want to begin my day, and I won't be making this my daily stop anymore. read more

The service was pleasant and fast though. Good variety of food and drink on the menu. No bathrooms but lots of outdoor cafe style tables. Nearly everyone sitting in the courtyard had a dog with them. If one were to dream up the perfect al fresco café set in a tiny southern California village steps from the beach, this would be it. I feel almost inspired to sit there and finally write my novel! Tucked behind a hedge on Channel Road, just steps from a tunnel under PCH that takes you right to the beach, Rustic Coffee serves up bespoke coffee drinks, sandwiches, baked goods and toast from the cutest shiny airstream, appointed with seasonal greenery. I ordered a simple latte which the lovely barista, dressed in a beautiful burgundy, seasonally inspired dress, served me nice and hot with a beautiful heart worked into the foam. When i inquired about the source of the delicious milk, she was bashful but disclosed it was simply Kirkland organic. No snobbishness or pretenses. At noon on a Monday the dining patio was uncrowded. The coffee shop shares the space with a little grocer that appears to sell mostly wine and cheese, a tiny little jeans boutique and a floral purveyor selling Christmas trees and holiday arrangements. Ok so I found my new favorite coffee shop and am wishing I lived by the beach so I could come here every week. I found this spot right here on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Firstly, the people who work there are the kindest. Felt very much like a spot that got regulars, they seemed to know a lot of the customers. The Spanish coffee was crazy good. I also got the chicken salad bowl for later (I'll be honest I haven't eaten it yet but DAMN it looks good...). The ambience was amazing as well! Lots of places to sit and you take two steps out the entrance and are right at the beach. If I had a little more time I would've loved to eat my croissant in their sitting area and then go walk along the beach with my coffee.
