Knocked off a star because it was hard to get anyone's attention at the mobile pick up section. An employee was stuck scrolling on her phone, so I went up to the cashier instead to pick up. Anyways, ordered a gluten free lox bagel. They didnt have the bagel and offered me gluten free ciabatta instead. I tried this and it was really good, the ciabatta was too good to be true to be gluten free.

Stopped by here for a quick coffee and ended up getting a pumpkin latte -- it was pretty good! Nice flavor and really comforting to sip on the go. The coffee spot has a great patio vibe with music and plenty of space to hang out. Really chill, dope spot overall! Parking: Street parking available nearby.

Busy coffee shop on Main St in Santa Monica! Great lattes, quick service, and excellent staff! Pro Tip: patio seating outside to enjoy shade and a latte!

I don't usually get obsessed with a new coffee spot...wait who am I kidding yes I do! The salty dog coffee at Dogtown is my current fav. This is the 3rd time getting it this week. Love the beachy ambiance. Grab a coffee and go take a beach walk, instant mood booster!

    Organic Matcha Latte

I've walked by this place many times. It has a cute vibe and the server was nice, but I ordered a matcha and it was definitely made with cooking grade matcha (tan/brown color), wasn't whisked at all (clumps) and made using low quality almond milk (the milk is not the worst, but it just didn't help the drink). I was bummed because it was $8 and probably the worst matcha I've ever been served. I hope everything else is really good -- I haven't tried their food so maybe try for yourself. Just do not get the matcha. People are nice and it's a lowkey spot. Bummed it wasn't a good drink.

Dog friendly, the staff is nice, beautiful views and walking distance to the beach. It's mostly meter parking.

This place is really great! On weekends they have live music 11-1 and they have a lot of seating outside. Some of it is covered by a tent. The staff members are friendly and the coffee is good. Strong espresso and good draft coffee. They are also obviously dog friendly.

Some poor vegan has my burrito.

This place is the WORST. I've given it so many tries. Something always goes wrong. I ordered a burrito and got some vegan wrap instead but didn't know until I got home -- 15 miles away. Last time I was there a woman behind the counter refused to make me a new coffee because I said it was cold. "No," she said, simply.

I wish I could give zero stars. It was my first time here. I came to get a matcha one afternoon and it tasted disgusting. Pure water, was not even mixed in correctly. Did not taste like matcha. I went back inside as soon as I took a sip to ask for a refund or maybe to trade it for another drink instead, and they said the best they could do to make up for it was for me to purchase another drink and get 50% off that drink. Terrible customer service. Could not afford to refund me $6. I would've been fine if the customer service made up for the drink.

so happy to see gluten free bagel options! i got the bacon, egg & cheese with the chipotle sauce & avocado - YUM! the salty dog was so tasty & even a gf matcha donut. quick walk to enjoy on the beach or they had a lot of outside seating.

Love this local, neighborhood coffee shop that has also expanded its delicious food menu for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The recently added a delicious middle eastern delicacy, Shakshouka, which is so yummy! I love the service - Jordan is A+! I love the dog friendly vibe with dog treats and water bowls inside and out. The outdoor patio seating is fantastic, and they have live music during weekend brunch times. Check in with Yelp and get 10% off! Amazing!

Salty Dog + Peppermint Mocha Latte

The salty dog drink is DELICIOUS. The shops is such a cute coastal vibe, and they even have a back patio where they had live music playing! Also loved all the pics of dogs near the front (:

Hi! Is this a god place for gluten-free and vegan options? Also, is OAT MILK a latte option? If not , know any one-stop-shops around?

There are MANY gluten free and vegan options here! And they have oat milk, amongst other dairy free options.

The back patio is especially lovely; modern yet cozy, with thoughtful decor. The food blends California-fresh ingredients with Turkish and Middle Eastern flair. I especially enjoy the zucchini fritters and sausage patties, and the chicken mango salad is excellent as well. The drink menu is equally fun, with a unique variety of milks like pistachio and walnut, paired with creative beverage options. Weekdays are definitely easier since it's less crowded, but the food is consistently great no matter when you go.

I was seated outside with a view of a busy road intersection, which made for nice people watching. The menu didn't have any stand-out dishes that you couldn't find at any other brunch place and there were barely any savory vegetarian options. I went with the Napa scramble. The scramble itself was very heavy on the spinach and light on the sun-dried tomatoes, which made for a not great texture and duller flavor. I did appreciate the bites with the creamy, tangy goat cheese. The toast was just ok and the strawberry jam it came with was very runny. I did enjoy the fresh greens on the side that were lightly dressed.

(Host, server, bartender, etc.). We started with a HH margarita, sliders, and fried calamari. I was pleasantly surprised by the HH serving size. For our main dinner we ordered spaghetti and meatballs and garlic shrimp linguine. Both pasta dishes were generously sized and delicious. Although there was only one person running the restaurant, we were well attended. Parking in Santa Monica is always challenging. We lucked out with metered street in front. A little on the watery side. Chicken bites came out in about 15 minutes. The coating had a very satisfying crunch, very saucy, but fell off the chicken easily and was a bit salty. This is a messy dish for sure. You will get your hands dirty! Chorizo Benedict came out about 30 minutes after order. Not great honestly. Portion size was generous. The eggs were poached decently, still runny, but the chorizo itself was bland and rather dry. The potatoes were room temperature. The bread a bit too chewy. Not AT ALL spicy. Super light on the pico de gallo. The service was rather slow for not being very busy. They didn't appear to be understaffed either. The location itself is cozy and not too loud, which is nice! Short walk from down town. The staff was kind, but boy were they slow. From being seated to paying for my meal was well over an hour! Automatic 2.5% "service fee" total was $46.50 before tip. I don't think I'll be returning unfortunately. The search for a good Benedict in LA area continues!

We were moved from our first room because the shower wouldn't drain properly, only to be assigned a room where the bathroom sink did not drain. Aaron, the manager was very empathetic and offered various ways to accommodate us for the subpar experience (restaurant bill adjustment, late check-out) , which we appreciated, but declined. All we really wanted was a good experience. The only direct request we had after speaking with Aaron was to have our bed re-made so we could nap before leaving. In fairness, we requested this from the a front desk attendant after they could not locate Aaron directly. However despite being assured that it would happen, it never did. Very unfortunate as we really wanted to like this property given the location. Other, albiet smaller issues included our lunch order being initially incorrect as there was a menu change but the chefs didn't know about it. Our server was very nice and apologetic. My wife was asked and requested a warm room for her spa service but it didn't happen. Also, someone walked in during the middle of her treatment looking for something. We had to walk around to find a server for the pool restaurant after waiting ~10 minutes for someone to arrive. With all of this, we would consider giving it another try namely because of the location and because everyone was courteous despite not delivering, but that would be a tough decision with other proven 5 star properties in the vicinity.

This place is charming and we got sat indoors overlooking the pool. It really felt like I was in another city somewhere. The servers and hosts were very attentive and very helpful answering any questions. Everything everyone ate look absolutely fantastic. Drinks: sunset spritz was a wonderful spin on the classic aperol but it had Vodka in it so it gave it an extra kick, but did not taste boozy. I also had the cucumber marg and our server asked me if I would like some Jalapeno slices in it and it really elevated the whole experience. Apps: the PEI mussels were beautifully arranged and the curry sauce that it in was very flavorful. I highly recommend this as a starter. The steak tartar was a whole show, the server walked out with a glass case that was ultra smoky, which they opened in front of you. It was a dinner and a show!! The tartar was very delicious. If you're a tartar fan, you have to get this. Wedge salad deserves it's only paragraph! It was huge, the pecans were a nice touch. I am not a fan of blue cheese dressing but it was not at all over powering. It was absolutely incredible. Mains: we ordered the branzino and these short ribs and both were cooked to perfection. The branzino had a perfect char to the skin and the server recommended the short ribs with mashed potatoes versus what it comes with which was shave carrots. The majority of the food and drinks were on special that ended 6 p m. If you do go I highly recommend going before 6. You can also valet your car and it's also discounted if you're there 2 hours or less. I will absolutely be coming back for happy hour again. Maybe even brunch!
